    Indeed, being able to import and export layouts from other people would be great. It's one of my favourite features from PB3.

    I know my friends will love me if this goes in :D

    I think part of the fun of using PB4 is discovering how to create these layouts myself. Now that the configuration options have been so greatly simplified, it's much easier to visually replicate a layout I may have seen in a screenshot elsewhere.

    would be able to get more of my friends to use it if we had this option

    I think this would be very useful for those of us just getting started with this addon. If we can start with something cool we've seen, we can change it a tad to make it fit for us. Then, with the skills learned from fiddling with what we have, we can (If we choose) make our own later on.

    Work on this module has been started but not been pushed onto public branches yet. There's several reasons it's being kept private for now.

    We want to fix at least another invisible code bug before the user start distributing their configs (with the bug included).

    As a small preview: the very least the module will allow is to import/export either individual layouts or entire profiles from/to the clipboard. I'm also looking into the possibility of sharing those configs within wow, but absolutely no guarantee that this will make it into the final version.

    Just a small status update on this issue. Importing and exporting entire profiles as well as individual layouts is now working and is pushed into my experimental release branch.

    You're welcome to fetch a recent zip from my repository below: http://www.wowace.com/addons/pitbull4/repositories/vangual/files/

    Some things I strongly recommend: 1) Fetch the full zip, NOT the nolib one. 2) Don't install the full zip, instead just copy over the "Pitbull4_ShareConfig" module to your live addons dir. 3) Make a backup of your PB4 SavedVariables before you start the client. I'm not kidding. Noone but me has made tests so far.

    Feedback needed.

    so heres the feedback

    error : cant find ace3 -> updated ace3.

    still error :

    @Tnemelc: Go

    Hi there. Unfortunately I'm currently on an indefinite wow break and don't have time for any further development or bugfixing on this.

    What is checked into the git sub-repo of mine is currently the latest version I wrote, iirc. EDIT: Just to avoid confusion, what you have access to is probably the latest version already, not implying that I've secretly put fixes in the git repo.

    From what I can see on your screenshot it looks like there were changes to the internals of AceConfigDialog-3 that break it. Doesn't surprise me much as I've had to make use of many of its.. less documented features. I can't however tell you how to fix it as I don't have access to any wow installation currently.

    If anyone wants to clone the existing code from my repo and finish it that's fine. (As long as credit is given when using my existing code.)
