This is exactly the kind of addon Im looking for, but I wont get it because I would want ppl to know Im ignoring them if they w me, and apparently that is soemthing this addon has turned off.

Could you please make the "NOT respon with "X is ignoring you"" an optional feature? I personally prefer people to know that I'm actually ignoring them - that I'm not just being rude in not responding to their blathering, but that I simply don't see it anymore. I'm actually having doubts about keeping this addon, exactly because of this. Wouldn't want to ditch it. :)

So you think its rude not to respond to ignored players with "x is ignoring you"? Yet! you are ignoring them thus you shouldn't care. Don't add salt to injury. Just leave it be and know its working. And you are thinking of ditching a good addon, because its not taunting those you have ignored? Some people.

But what if someone whispers you who is on your IgnoreMore List and he doesn't get an reply and thinks I just don't answere or didn't read it? These Peoples are writing another Guild Members that they forward his Message to me or just saying "Please answere him". But he is on my List and I don't want to reply! For this an automated "bla is ignoring you" would be great.

However, in behavioral correction there has to be some sort of action. Another words, if I was getting the message from enough people that "X" is ignoring you, I would be forced or at least alerted to change my behavior.

Does this addon prevent me from grouping with ignored players in dungeon/raid finder on all toons of the same faction/realm?

does it prevent you from grouping? no, but you won't see their chat until you take them off /ignore.../shrug...personally, if i don't want to see their nonsense, I'm not interested in grouping with them either, so...

It's not an addon doing that, but the default ignore list. The LFG tool will look at your ignore list and make sure you're not grouped with anyone listed there.

When I saw that announced, I happily started making use of my Ignore list again - especially because you can also add people from other realms. ^^

I guess this addon has been abandoned . I'll try to revive this addon if it's ok with everyone.

I am missing its ability to ignore people account wide. Even though now you can ignore more than 49 players. I believe that you do not group people on ignore after a relog. I have gotten groups back with someone I had on ignore after the addition of cross realm instance ques, but this may have been out dated. I have a lot of alts, and prefer to not risk grouping people I find obnoxious.

As a suggestion would it be possible to share accounts' ignore lists like gatherer does nodes? I sometimes play on a second account. Also I am sure my spouse would like to share my ignore list.

if it's possible, add the functionality of ignoring the account that the toon is on instead of just a toon...if someone's being a jackass on their warrior, we're not suddenly going to be beer-drinkin pals when they're on their DK

 

Addon works good but ignored people's msg window still pops up (without their msg) if you have seperate chat windows turned on. Also would be nice to have a message sent to the ignored folks informing them that are ignored and or the reason. I'm getting a lot of people messaging me on their alts asking why they were ignored.

 

Other than that, great addon.

Since this just removes their messages like the BadBoy addon removes spam, no, it does not provide such functionality.

if you combine this addon with whisperwhisper you can still see /w from people that is on ignore. maybe it's stupid to get whisperwhisper but as i see it the addon keeps track of /w if you are away from the game

Dose not work for me at all, pitty it sounds the best add on for ignoring the mass amounts of idiotic people on this great game.

Doesn't work for me for cross realm ignores: I still get put with ignored people into the same PuG.
