ItemAuditor
I have marked this project as inactive because I haven't been playing WoW for a couple months. I'm not sure if or when I might return, so obviously i'm not able to maintain this project. If you are a developer and would like to maintain this project please email me.
Have you ever wanted to know exactly how much you have invested into each item you sell?
This addon keeps track of all of the ways you might spend money on material.
- Money spent at auction house
- Money spent on postage
- Money spent at vendors
- Money spent or gained trading with other players
- Money gained at vendors
- Money gained selling at auction house
- Money gained selling items to other players through COD mail
Not only does it keep track of how much money you spent on materials, but it also transfers that money when you convert your items with trade skills. For example, you have invested 1g20s on two Saronite Ore, when you smelt those into bars, ItemAuditor will show that you have invested 1g20s into Saronite Bars. ItemAuditor will also show you how much you have to sell each item for to make a profit at the auction house. In this example that would be 1g27s at a faction auction house.
It appears APM is also working on another addon shortly, I added a ticket on the QAM page about it.
ItemAuditor does not work directly with ZeroAuctions. I created http://www.wowace.com/addons/qa-manager/ to work as a compatibility layer between ItemAuditor and your chosen auction addon. QAManager has all of the auction management functionality ItemAuditor used to have with a few more features. For example, QA Manager can also set your fallback to some % (or amount) over the market value.
I'm noticing the QA options section is permanently greyed out and I cannot select it. I am using Zero Auctions, does IA not detect is as a feasible substitute?
yes, the latest alpha (r150) has that ability. Its been in alpha for two weeks with no bug reports so I just promoted it to a full release.
Do you have plans to allow IA to export the queue to Gnomeworks?

Uhm, where can I find QAM? I had to reinstall my client (and my addons with it), and I just cannot find it. :(
QAManager has been updated to look for QuickAuctions, ZeroAuctions or AuctionProfitMaster.
I also added the ability for it to use GetAuctionBuyout API compatible (Auctionator, AuctionLite, AuctionMaster) addons as an alternative to Auctioneer. I believe that means it has all of the QuickAuctions related functionality that ItemAuditor currently has, so ItemAuditor's QuickAuctions module will be going away soon. When this happens, if you will need to install QAManager to automatically keep auction thresholds, and fallbacks up to date.
I have replaced all references to QuickAuctions to AuctionProfitMaster, and it works with it perfectly. (Just searched for the string and mass replace.)
Auction Profit Master is not the only fork of QA3. I've decided to use ZeroAuctions so that is the one that I plan to support. If someone would like to contribute/maintain/test compatibility with a different fork, I am not opposed to accepting those changes.
I intend to drop all QA support from ItemAuditor and instead centralize that functionality in QAManager which will support ZeroAuctions. I will probably be able to work on this tonight.
Just a note, Shadowed has dropped QA3, however he is allowing another author to continue working on it. It's Auction Profit Master since Shadowed requested the name be changed.

Figured I'd let ya know since IA and QAM integrate into it.
Hi,
My sales just keeps track of the revenue I make from a sale.
I open a AH receipt and my sales keeps track of the item, amount and purchasers.
So by combining the two I would see how much profit I actually made vs how much is expected.
ex: Colorful Kilt: My sales reports purchased at 50G, Item Auditor reports investment at 25S showing my true profit as 49G75S. Which imo is so much better then using any of the AH average price because it reflects when I get good deals on materials.
Thanks again. Lovely addon
If you use skillet it needs to be LilSparky's branch: http://www.wowace.com/addons/skillet/repositories/lilsparkys-clone/files/
Whenever I try to use IA Queue I recieve the following error:

I'm not sure I understand how you would like to combine this with MySales. What would ItemAuditor do differently and what would MySales do differently?
I was wondering if there was any way to combine this addon with MySales giving a profit that would be more liquid then anything else.
Wonderful addon. The fact that I could go from Runecloth -> Runecloth Belt -> Dream Dust -> to Enchant Bracer - Greater Stamina on vellum I (which I also bought from the AH adding to the invested total) is Mind Boggling.
I am going to bring this suggestion to the attention of Lilspark just because this is sooooo perfect.
