I am trying to reset the camera values to default but I cannot figure out how to do it other than resetting all which something I don't want to do. Thank you for your help
any of them I can see them however I can not figure how to change them. I see the reset to default that you have to type irreversible on however I don't want to have to go through all of my settings and reset them but will if that is my only option.
My ultimate goal is to see if I can stop my toon from getting turned around all the time. it seems like I am constantly running sideways or backward instead of staying behind the toon. This started with the latest patch.
I have tried all the various settings and slowed the camera follow speed both up and down. So far nothing seems to work. I currently am using dynamic camera addon that seems to help correct most of it. I just have to have a re-orient key handy.
my thought was maybe if I could reset all the camera settings to default that would fix the problem.
I would try disabling all of your addons, then logging in and making sure the Camera Follow style is set, and seeing if it still doesn't move behind you when you start moving.
Since you mentioned using DynamicCam, it's quite possibly the cause of whatever is wrong with your camera, and typing /console actioncam off should disable anything left over after you turn the addon off.
I wouldn't bother trying to reset the camera settings through the Load Defaults button in AIO, it's unlikely to fix whatever is going on here.
If you still think it's a different cvar then you can try typing "camera" into the cvar browser and looking through any values colored red, which means they aren't set to their default, and hovering over it will show the default value in the tooltip.
I actually installed the dynamiccam addon to correct the problem. It helped a lot. I am going to just run with it as is at this point. I have learned how to compensate. Thank you for all your help.
Hello Semlar, do you know if cvar trackQuestSorting has a "bottom" option? In AIO's GUI the only two options available are "top" and "proximity", with "Top" being the default. It seems odd that there is no "bottom" option available.
The option to enable map fadding when I move doesn't work for me, I reinstalled and turned off all addons also tried ustalling all addons. Is like if it was super locked.
Anyone else have an issue with Combat State constantly turning itself off and checking/unchecking it, or scrolling text entirely refuses to turn it back on?
Is there any way you could potentially implement a profile setting into the addon? Just curious as depending on the character I'm on I like to play on different settings (For example boomkin playing with dreamcatcher is supposed to play at a way higher lag tolerance than lets say my ret paladin.)
Anytime when you approach a world quest, there is a dialogue box that pops up with the animation of an npc talking with scrolling text. Personally, I find this to be annoying. Is there an option to disable this dialogue box in this addon?
This is a great addon, finally I can have the floating text back.
There is a way to exclude an specific aura from the floating text? In this case I want the "Soul Link" from the warlock not to be shown when I gain it because everytime I use "Hand of Gul'dan" and the imps spawn I have multiples messages from it.

Which camera options?

Have you tried just going into the camera settings in the default blizzard interface options and checking what Camera Follow Style is set to?
It should be reorienting itself behind you when you're moving if you have it set to something like "only horizontal while moving"

There indeed only are the "top" and "proximity" options. But during patch 7.0.3 the "top" option used to be bugged to work in "bottom" / reverse order
QuestWatchSort could maybe be modified to support this functionality

It's working for me at least, note that the cvar is character-specific. You'd have to enable it on all of your toons
If you have the "enforce settings" box checked, it will apply any character specific settings to every character you log into.

It could be another addon (like MSBT) is controlling it. What does the cvar browser say when you mouseover enableFloatingCombatText ?

Try the HideTalkingHead addon.
i recommend it as well :)
