Customizable unit frame addon.

How to configure the unit frames in 3.0

Press "esc" to open the options menu.

Press the "Interface" button.

In the interface options window, press the "AddOns" tab.

Select "AG Units" from the tree of available addons.

Press the "Open AG Units Options" button. This will open the AG Unit Frames options window.

(Alternatively, you can write "/aguf" in the chat.)

Hi guys,

I know there's still some things missing, like layouts for example.

I would have loved to keep the old version of AG Unit Frames up until I thought the new version was 100% ready, but 3.0 came out, so I had to put the new version up. The old version not compatible with 3.0.

That said, I feel that the new AG Unit Frames is much lighter than the old one, while being easier to configure, contains more modern features and so on. As soon as the glitches in the wake of 3.0 is smoothed out, I'm sure many of you are going to be pretty happy with it.

Regarding the missing layouts, the layout system was completely changed, which makes the old layouts incompatible. It is much better and dynamic now and allows for a lot more customization, It is unfortunate that I haven't had time to rewrite some of the old layouts like "classic". I really plan to.

I hope this answers some of your questions!

Issues

There is a problem where party members won't be created correctly if they join while you're in combat. This is a bug in the Blizzard interface code and won't be fixed until they release a new patch. This affects all unit frame addons.

Tom could you please fix the paladin's holy power bar?

It stores only 3 holy power and on this patch paladins can store up to 5 Holy Power at a time.

ag_UnitFrames Fix for 5.0.4

I'll try to keep this version bug free and up to date with the latest wow lua changes. I will not do feature requests. If andreasg/shadowed/nevcairiel comes back, I'll either stop these updates or if he/she wants, take over maintainance. If you encounter bugs with the above zip, create a character on Medivh and send an in-game mail to Saganaki with the error you're seeing. There is very likely some issues remaining. I tried my best to flush out as many as I could (with the set of features I use from ag_UnitFrames).

8/29/2012 Update. Known Issues:

Unable to move party windows

Errors occur when party member disconnects

Errors occur when attempting to enable a new UI element when in combat (this may have been an issue before).

Any update coming for 5.04 or anyone with the appropriate knowledge able ot have a look at this please?

It prety much works ok, but there are a few problems with it.

This is THE best unit frame addon around. Please update it and keep it alive!

The only problem i have with this Addon is the aggro color, Can you make it so that its exacly like with Blizzard Frames, that its glowing red and that u can add a % aggro bar above plz :) If you could i would not stop using this addon.

This unit frame would be amazing if it was not for all the error msgs and the fact that I am unable to save a profile... It automatically resets itself everytime I log in. Fail. Wussup shadow unit frames?

Look, I use this add on because it's the only UF add on that will do what I need it to do. I used to use nUI but my FPS suffer, bad. This is the only add I can use to create my own nUI, by having the raid frames around my mini map in the bottom of my screen, the only add on that I can get similar to nUI on my portrait and my targets.

This add on is PERFECT, and creators did such a wonderful job.

PLEASE, PLEASE Update for 4.3. I'd love to hear back.

i've been using ag_uf even with the broken pet thing (playing non pet class) but seeing as how this addon is pretty broke on 4.3 ptr i decided to check out others since i dont expect an update on this given 8 months ago was the last.

what i found is Shadowed Unit Frames is rather similar if not a more flexible version of this

Yup, just found Shadowed Unit Frames also, and love that I am able to get my unit frames looking the same as with ag. I tried to stick it out with ag as long as I could because I loved it, but like mike said: 8 months is a pretty long time to go without updates.
