Analyst
About Analyst
Analyst collects information about the virtual economy and presents that information to the player. In its Economy panel, Analyst answers questions such as the following:
- How much gold did I earn and how?
- How much gold did I spend and on what?
- How am I doing in the auction house?
- What have I looted from mobs?
- What items did I consume?
- What items did I produce?
- How many currencies (marks, badges, emblems) have I collected?
- What have I deposited or withdrawn from the guild bank?
- What is my gathering and crafting activity?
- ... and much more
All reports can be shown over a configurable period (days, weeks, month).

The Economy panel lets you choose between the various reports offered by Analyst. Also, the reporting period of time can be chosen. Central information is displayed in the top frame. Data from two selected reports in shown in the bottom frames.
For the This Week report, the start day of week can be configured in the options. For example, a raid player may want to set the start day of week to the beginning of the raid ID period.
If you mouseover a statistic item, a tooltip provides detailed drill-down information on that statistic:
Usage
If you have a Lightweight Data Broker (LDB) container add-on such as Titan Panel, Analyst shows in that container. Left-clicking the Analyst icon toggles the Economy panel; right-clicking the icon shows the options.
If you do not have an LDB container, type /analyst economy to toggle the Economy panel and /analyst options to show the options.
Analyst provides a key binding to toggle the Economy panel. You may want to assign a key to that binding to gain quick access to Analyst.
Er, no Analyst shouldn't include that. That's a completely different feature that will add unnecessary bloat. Because you haven't looked on Google (or here) for such a mod is no reason to add the feature to this one.
Look around for ItemPriceTooltip or SellFish.
I agree to that statement. There already are numerous add-ons providing the requested functionality.
This said, Analyst actually does take part in the GetSellValue API chain (see http://www.wowwiki.com/GetSellValue) and uses sell values from that API to calculate the vendor value of all items looted.
Nice little addon. Often wondered where my gold was going :)
One request, can you align the similar incoming and outgoings. eg: Put auction buying and selling on the same line, Vendor buying and selling on the same line etc. It sounds a petty little thing but it'd make it more readable.
Thank you for this feedback. I will look into it for the next release.
Nice addon, one problem I noticed is it does not record gold looted from chests though, could be a future patch.
Thanks, I'll look into it.
is it too hard to change a few strokes?
There are problems with german Client.
The following things are ignored:
- receiving money in trade frame while enchanting at the same time
- repairing at rep-bots or the smith inside mont Hyjal/BT instance
An issue with repairs not being accounted has been fixed in the 1.0.1 release.
I'll look into the money-transfer-while-enchanting issue.
Mods should _never_ auto-bind keys without notice.
Great add-on but it misses looted gold and auction gold from mail box from time to time.
Some issues with gold looted in groups have been fixed in the 1.0.1 release.
Gold received from the AH may not be processed properly if an automatic mail removal add-on in in use. This is due to those add-ons deleting mails from the inbox before the invoice details have been transmitted from the server. The only solution is to open and delete the AH mail manually.
I enjoy this add-on very much. Love statistics! Thank you
