ArkInventory
ArkInventory (for The War Within)
:boom: Please ensure you are using the latest alpha version if you have the War Within client.
ArkInventory (for Retail, Classic, and Cataclysm)
ArkInventory's display windows are built from "virtual bars", you assign categories to bars so that items in that category are displayed on the specific bars you want. There is no limit to the number of bars you can have inside a window but obviously you only have so much screen real estate before it becomes "too many".
ArkInventory uses several methods to assign a default category to an item such as what professions you have, tooltip scanning, basic type/subtype and PeriodicTable. You then assign those categories to a virtual bar.
You can also over-ride the default category by creating a rule that matches either a single or multiple items.
Overview:
- user configurable window width and height
- separate keybindings for each location for easy viewing
- assign items to a category of your choice (overrides the default assignment)
- assign categories to the bar of your choice
- unlimited number of bars (there are practical limits though before your screen becomes full)
- sort each bar differently if required
- user configurable bars per row
- sell junk items automatically or manually (delete available via a keybinding or right clicking when at a vendor)
- random pet and mount summons. can also assign a group of them to select from
Key Bindings:
- Press ESCAPE to bring up the blizzard menu
- click on Key Bindings
- scroll down to AddOns > ArkInventory
- bind the keys you want to use

:boom: The NoLib variant
it seems quite a few people are somehow getting the NoLib variant from their download client when they didn't specifically ask for it, instead of the full variant, and its causing issues as they don't have the required libraries installed separately. Please ensure you are downloading the full. if you see nolib in the filename then its the wrong variant, unless you are actually installing all of the required libraries separately as well. If you have to you can manually download the full variant from CurseForge, WoWInterface, or Wago.
:boom: Junk Sell getting blocked
While auto-destroy remains blocked, From 30960 onwards you can setup a Key Binding to manually sell and destroy your items. Note that blizzard require one keypress per item deletion, so if you have multiple items that need to be deleted you will need to press the Key Binding multiple times. A message will be output if you have remaining items that can still be deleted.
:warning: Ensure you have backup copies of your saved variables file
Sometimes you cannot revert back to a previous version without a backup, especially alpha or beta versions, so before upgrading please make sure you have made a backup of your saved variables file
Your saved variables file is normally located at ...\World of Warcraft\_client_\WTF\Account\yourwowaccountname\SavedVariables\ArkInventory.lua
It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate backups of your saved variables file. You dont have to do them frequently, just after you've made major changes to your config is probably fine for most people, but you should get into the habit of making backups because when it does corrupt you wont have to reconfigure everything from scratch.
If you have your download client set to automatically download alpha/beta versions you should definitely have backups.
A simple way to back up the saved variables file is to just do a copy and paste then rename the new file (using the version number of ArkInventory or the date is a good idea), eg ArkInventory-30900.lua, or ArkInventory-20191228.lua

For some reason, ArkInventory has stopped showing me the item count in the tooltip of all recipes. Instead, it shows the count of the actual crafted item, if it exists anywhere on my account.
Is that intended or a bug? I would really like to know the count of the recipes I have across several toons (for auctioning purposes or whatever) just like with every other item. Seeing the count of the crafted item is not helpful at all... :/
Addon version is 3.10.15, but not sure for how long the error exists.
Is there some option I cannot find or can you fix this, please? :)
What option can I use to access the "Primordial Stone" text ? It will also be in some items, "Crafting Agent", etc. The name() and tooltip() rule functions do no recognize these words. It is defined as a Gem, but I want them in a separate location in my bags.

Is it possible to disable the guild bank part of this mod?
In reply to RatiaSnowFur: yes. in the settings for ark, go to general -> profiles -> [the profile you want] -> controls -> guild bank -> general, and then untick override.
I'd like to have my bank have different set of configurations than that of my bag. I've tried to poke around and find it, but I can only find override which brings back the blizzard bags and setup. Where do I find how to create individual configurations for my bank and for my bag. Thanks!
Unless it can already do this, and I am unaware how, I would like the ability to see which toons have bag space available per faction.
This would make it easier to know which toons have the slots available to mail inventory, without having to check them all one at a time.
The data's already there, so I wouldn't think it wouldn't be too hard.
Maybe just a little audit popup that shows available bags, bank, and void, and type of slots available, standard, or crafting materials.
Kind of like the gold inventory popup.
Hi there
Among other smaller errors, it seems that AI is blocking the usage of toys - via toy sticker book and via action button.
Not a major issue, but well, thought, I'll let you know.
Put your spoiler here.3x [ADDON_ACTION_FORBIDDEN] AddOn 'ArkInventory' hat versucht die geschützte Funktion 'UseToy()' aufzurufen.

Maybe there is a fix or even something I can do on my side via settings.
Thanks for info. :)
Rule
works correctly in bags, but not in bank: in bank it puts in bar, where this rule assigned, only 12 of 15 items.

where can i find the style entry for mythic+ keystones? i like to adjust font size and displaying position like i can do with ilvl and stack count
Bug with latest version posted >> https://github.com/arkayenro/arkinventory/issues/1771
Sorry if that was answered already, but I couldn't find it in FAQ or the guide ...
Is there a way to Search for items based on ilevel or quality?
e.g. I want to search the bags for all items with Item Level less than 380
I tried ilevel<380, level<380, ilvl<380 ... nothing works.
In reply to Genni84:
in bag search feature one can not que item levels.
but you can set up a personal rule and appy it to a box in config mode. a rule examble can be something like this for your <380:
equip( ) and ilvl( 1, 380 ) and soulbound( )
and then you might want a counter rule for equip above 380 too for another entry:
equip( ) and ilvl( 382, 1000 ) and soulbound( )
With today's maintenance on Wrath-Classic, I'm getting a lot of errors. This includes disabling Blizz's UI at the bank. I click the bag, but it doesn't disable Blizz UI.
HI Folks
My restack stopped working, does anyone know why?
