History

AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.

What is Atlasloot

AtlasLoot Enhanced is an UI mod allowing for loot tables of bosses to be browsed whenever needed within the game.

Features

Atlas Integration: You can easily link to Atlas map browser if your current visited instance loot table has a corresponding map provided in Atlas.
Dressing Room: Control-click items to show them in the Dressing Room.
Price Preview: See the prices for token items like PvP rewards.
Filter: Filter loot tables based on your class or set up your filter manually (NYI).
Instance Loot: All instance loot from every Dungeon (Normal and Heroic) and Raid.
Faction and PvP rewards
Collection Items: Armor Sets (Dungeon, Tier and Crafted), Mounts, Companions, Tabards, Legendary items and more.
Season and World Events: Skettis, Abyssal Council, Ethereum Prison, Feast of Winter Veil, Hallow's End, Brewfest, etc.

To Do

Add skill / source to crafting
Wishlist: Alt-click on any item to add it to the wishlist, alt-clicking on an item in the wishlist deletes it. There are buttons added to the Atlas panel and the loot browser to open the wishlist.
Partial Searching: Allows searching the whole AtlasLoot database for an item where you only know part of the name.
Quicklooks: Bind up to ten loot tables to 'Quicklook' buttons, allowing you to jump to them with only one click.

Slash Commands

'/al' or '/atlasloot' by itself brings up the loot browser.
'/atlasloot options' brings up the options menu.
'/atlasloot reset' resets the last viewed loot table (fixes disconnects when opening AtlasLoot) and moves all draggable frames back to the middle of the screen.
'/atlasloot mmb' toggles the minimap button on / off.
'/atlasloot togglebg' toggles background pictures on / off.

I reported this bug a few days ago. The problem is when you add items to your wishlist after doing a search. You will need to manually edit your savedvariables file and look for the wishlist, and removed those that have something like #SEARCH or something odd like that in the last field.

I'm having trouble accessing my WishList as of late. At first it just started accessing my Mage's 2nd wishlist where I kept PvP Gear, but after awhile I can't access my Shaman's Only wishlist either

Don't hold your breath. They didn't even acknowledge the problem (to you or me) so I suspect this has dropped off their radar due to so many other comments. Perhaps this will "bump" the issue back to the top and they'll see it.

What part of AtlasLoot are you talking about? Instances, factions, sets? Can you provide a screenshot?

I will have a couple screenshots linked below this, but I will describe the issue to the best of my ability.

When I open atlasloot and switch to the Cataclysm module, I select an instance. The page that usually displays all of the drops from the boss is completely blank, as well as the page that shows what boss is in that instance. THere is literally no information.

The other issue I am having is when I go to... Factions > Ramkahen, the Ramkahen button doesn't work. This applies to every menu that is used for Cataclysm items. Factions, PvP Rewards, JP, VP, etc. The only menu this doesn't apply to is the crafting section. Also, for another example, I can do PvP Rewards > PvP Armor Sets(Lv.85) > <insert a class>. But, when I try to click on any class, the link to the next page doesn't work.

I took a couple of screenshots. The ones that display an empty page are for the heroics, and the others show that I can't click on the link to Cataclysm items.

Edit: I was actually able to fix my own issue. I believed it was happening because of another addon, but when I tried to solve the issue on my alt, who has no addons, I had to turn on atlasloot. To my surprise, it worked. I logged off, and turned the atlasloot addon OFF then ON again, and all of the items are displaying correctly.

I don't know why this is the case as I tried deleting all of my files related to AL and reinstalling them, which didn't work. Either way, it is now working for me and if anyone comes to you with the same issue you, have them try what I did.

Edit(2): I failed to mention when I turned it off and on again, I specifically did it for my main character, who has the same addons I have been using this whole expansion turned on. If they are somehow conflicting with atlasloot they are: TukUI, ClassTimer, DXE, Clique, and TellUI (for addon skinning).

I am using Atlas Loot Advanced under the bracket for "Classic Wow". I used to have the ability to switch between Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms to see the different Instances in each location. Now I am unable to see Kalimdor anymore. Just Eastern Kingdoms. It doesnt say eastern kingdoms anywhere. Thats all it has under "Classic Wow" .I trieds uninstalling/ reninstalling it. I tried reseting defaults. And nothing worked i cant see Kalimdor anymore. Does anyone know what i can do to fix this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Found a bug. If you do a search for an item by name, and then Alt-click the item to add it to your wishlist, it stores it's location incorrectly as having come from the search, not the actual boss it comes from. This means that on subsequent loads you can not use the wishlist as you get a nil reference error when its sorting the wishlist. Had to manually edit the savedvariables file to remove the offending item.

Prior to Cataclysm, using Atlas and Atlasloot there were little loot icons next to the boss names in Atlas. Clicking one would link into Atlasloot to see the loot tables as an overlay across the map (like the second screenshot "Atlasloot in Atlas"). I can't seem to get this functionality back. Was this a feature of Atlas or Atlasloot and is there an option I need to enable it back?

This function is still in. You need Atlas for the maps and AtlasLoot for the loot. Just open Atlas and it should work. If not please send me a screenshot.

I did a complete reinstall, deleted all my saved variables and downloaded the latest versions of both Atlas and AtlasLoot Enhanced. Both seem to work fine independently but Atlas just doesn't have the loot icons to pull up the loot overlay.
