History

AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.

What is Atlasloot

AtlasLoot Enhanced is an UI mod allowing for loot tables of bosses to be browsed whenever needed within the game.

Below is list of custom modules which are developed and maintained by different author teams.

Features

Atlas Integration: You can easily link to Atlas map browser if your current visited instance loot table has a corresponding map provided in Atlas.
Dressing Room: Control-click items to show them in the Dressing Room.
Price Preview: See the prices for token items like PvP rewards.
Filter: Filter loot tables based on your class or set up your filter manually (NYI).
Instance Loot: All instance loot from every Dungeon (Normal and Heroic) and Raid.
Faction and PvP rewards
Collection Items: Armor Sets (Dungeon, Tier and Crafted), Mounts, Companions, Tabards, Legendary items and more.
Season and World Events: Skettis, Abyssal Council, Ethereum Prison, Feast of Winter Veil, Hallow's End, Brewfest, etc.

To Do

Add skill / source to crafting
Wishlist: Alt-click on any item to add it to the wishlist, alt-clicking on an item in the wishlist deletes it. There are buttons added to the Atlas panel and the loot browser to open the wishlist.
Partial Searching: Allows searching the whole AtlasLoot database for an item where you only know part of the name.
Quicklooks: Bind up to ten loot tables to 'Quicklook' buttons, allowing you to jump to them with only one click.

Slash Commands

'/al' or '/atlasloot' by itself brings up the loot browser.
'/atlasloot options' brings up the options menu.
'/atlasloot reset' resets the last viewed loot table (fixes disconnects when opening AtlasLoot) and moves all draggable frames back to the middle of the screen.
'/atlasloot mmb' toggles the minimap button on / off.
'/atlasloot togglebg' toggles background pictures on / off.

Without any error message I have no idea whats going on. I can't reproduce the error, so currently there is nothing we can do :(

My atlasloot isn't showing any gear/items. When I click the buttons, nothing happens. I can click around, say, the collections and get the second list of options (whether it be pets, mounts, etc) but I can't click any further. Nor does choosing a dungeon bring anything up.

What am I doing wrong? =X

Try a clean reinstall:
1. Delete every AtlasLoot folder (even the wtf ones)
2. Log in to WoW.
3. Completely log out.
4. Reinstall AtlasLoot.
5. Log in to WoW with only AtlasLoot enabled

I'm having the same issue as this but it doesn't happen when I first login, AtlasLoot works fine for a while, and then at some point that I haven't determined yet it just stops working and functioning like kendrahf's where it shows blank pages and the buttons don't work.

Shutting down the game and restarting it fixes it everytime but only for a period of time. If I get a better idea of when it might happen exactly, changing zones, switching characters, whatever, I'll come post back.

I do have an idea for a compromise on the wishlist.
would require a new function and button, since i tried to copy it out and put it back in but some items are missing that were on it and it breaks.

we need a repair wishlist button / function. that will go through the wishlist and check each item by item number and re-populate the rest of the info into the wishlist so its correct. if the item has been removed, then remove it from the list and move on to the next one.

I know what is causing the error so please send me your wtf file to hegarol(at)atlasloot(dot)net.
We are still investigating how to fix this error on its own, hopefully we will have a solution for the next version.

I see there are some comments about the wishlist, I guess copying it out of the lua file and trying to repopulate ingame is the only solution :S That was one of the features I was most happy about having stored ingame.. wonder if revert to old version will fix it

Any chance we can get an Export / Import wish list option? so when bugs like this appear we don't have to go through and re-layout the wish list for all characters?

I get around it currently by pulling the wish list out of the atlasloot.lua file but it would be much easier if we could export the list and re-import it after clearing the old settings.

maybe have the export option just dump the wish list for all characters to wishlist.lua or something. Or per character to their respective saved variables folders. although personally i would vote for the wish list of all characters, one click for everyone.

We had some plans for Cataclysm but didn't do it because of time constraints. We are definitely working on a fix for the wishlist bugs though. Deleting a wtf file every new version is not acceptable.

Known bug, you should still be able to use the dropdown "select module" menu though.

Recently my Atlas Loot stopped working entirely for Cataclysm, that includes rep rewards, drops from both raids and heroics, and even patterns and recipes. I have the most up to date version and have tried simply reinstalling the add on but nothing seems to work. Any advice?

Are you both sure the Cataclysm module is enabled? Do you get any error message? Can you provide a screenshot?

I get your 6.02.00 picture if I disable the Cataclysm module. If its enabled for you and you don't get any error message I have no idea whats going on.

I have all the module's enabled. I've no clue what is going on either. I uninstalled the whole thing and reinstalled it as well. And actually none of the modules seem to be loading. I've sorta given up at this point and I'm just using 6.01.02 since it still works for me.
