History

AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.

What is Atlasloot

AtlasLoot Enhanced is an UI mod allowing for loot tables of bosses to be browsed whenever needed within the game.

Below is list of custom modules which are developed and maintained by different author teams.

Features

Atlas Integration: You can easily link to Atlas map browser if your current visited instance loot table has a corresponding map provided in Atlas.
Dressing Room: Control-click items to show them in the Dressing Room.
Price Preview: See the prices for token items like PvP rewards.
Filter: Filter loot tables based on your class or set up your filter manually (NYI).
Instance Loot: All instance loot from every Dungeon (Normal and Heroic) and Raid.
Faction and PvP rewards
Collection Items: Armor Sets (Dungeon, Tier and Crafted), Mounts, Companions, Tabards, Legendary items and more.
Season and World Events: Skettis, Abyssal Council, Ethereum Prison, Feast of Winter Veil, Hallow's End, Brewfest, etc.

To Do

Add skill / source to crafting
Wishlist: Alt-click on any item to add it to the wishlist, alt-clicking on an item in the wishlist deletes it. There are buttons added to the Atlas panel and the loot browser to open the wishlist.
Partial Searching: Allows searching the whole AtlasLoot database for an item where you only know part of the name.
Quicklooks: Bind up to ten loot tables to 'Quicklook' buttons, allowing you to jump to them with only one click.

Slash Commands

'/al' or '/atlasloot' by itself brings up the loot browser.
'/atlasloot options' brings up the options menu.
'/atlasloot reset' resets the last viewed loot table (fixes disconnects when opening AtlasLoot) and moves all draggable frames back to the middle of the screen.
'/atlasloot mmb' toggles the minimap button on / off.
'/atlasloot togglebg' toggles background pictures on / off.

Is the Eye of Eternity somewhere in the addon I'm not seeing? I have the latest version and don't see it in Northrend instances.

It's not in Atlas because Atlas does not have map yet. In the standalone loot browser (type '/al'), it is under WotLK Instances -> Malygos.

Is there any way to show what item level items are? In the wishlist, there is no way to tell if an item is from the 10 or 25 man version of the raid instance. Seeing the item level would at least allow that. Or at least some sort of sorting in the wishlist to sort between 10 and 25 man (having just headers would be nicer rather than the button to switch; at least for the wishlist I think).

I try not to tinker with tooltips too much. I currently use rating buster that includes that information.

Known issue. It is because of the way the loot tables are set out in the loot browser at the moment. Because there were so many things to be done for Wrath, it was done as quickly as possible, with plans to clean it up later.

I love using the Wish List feature, but since WotLK its been a little screwed up. Not sure if you're already aware, but it seems there are a lot of data errors with item categories.

For example, items are generally categorized under a red heading denoting the instance, and then under each item is yellow subtext denoting the boss which drops the item... in many cases, though, such as all the loot that drops in 25-man Naxx, all items are under the "Unknown" heading, and for some loot (such as the Rod of the Fallen Monarch in Azjol-Nerub) the yellow subtext restates the name of the instance, instead of the boss.

It'd be awesome if you could clean that stuff up. Anyway, thanks for the great mod!

ok the Boots of the Whirling Mist that drop in Heroic Halls of Stone, WoLK are shown as Mail boots. they are in fact Leather boots

i have the addon loaded but its not showing up on any of my toons
i have it enabled and everything and idk what the issue is
any ideas?
i also uninstalled and re istalled a few times

Have you activated AtlasLootFu that comes with the addon? As far as I know, this makes the button that will be placed on your minimap. I think you can write /atlasloot either way.

This is correct. Regardless of this, if the mod is correctly install typing '/al' or '/atlasloot' should do something.

Keep receiving this error AtlasLoot\Libs\AceAddon-3.0\AceAddon-3.0.lua:256: Usage: GetModule:(name, silent): 'name' - Cannot find module 'Player'. Seems to happen when I enter another zone such as going from Zul'Drak to Grizzly Hills.

Sounds like another Ace mod doing that (not my module). Make sure all your other mods are up to date, I am sure that message won't appear if AL is the only mod running.

I usually get stuff from the Curse Client with the 'Find a Mod' tab in the program itself. You would have to ask the curse guys about that message, my guess would be that you aren't not running the Client with admin privs.

I am trying to download atlasloot enchanced on my vista computer and the computer says "package reauthentication failed".....? I can only manually download things...,how do I get the automatic download through Curse Client to work? It used to work.
