History

AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.

What is Atlasloot

AtlasLoot Enhanced is an UI mod allowing for loot tables of bosses to be browsed whenever needed within the game.

Below is list of custom modules which are developed and maintained by different author teams.

Features

Atlas Integration: You can easily link to Atlas map browser if your current visited instance loot table has a corresponding map provided in Atlas.
Dressing Room: Control-click items to show them in the Dressing Room.
Price Preview: See the prices for token items like PvP rewards.
Filter: Filter loot tables based on your class or set up your filter manually (NYI).
Instance Loot: All instance loot from every Dungeon (Normal and Heroic) and Raid.
Faction and PvP rewards
Collection Items: Armor Sets (Dungeon, Tier and Crafted), Mounts, Companions, Tabards, Legendary items and more.
Season and World Events: Skettis, Abyssal Council, Ethereum Prison, Feast of Winter Veil, Hallow's End, Brewfest, etc.

To Do

Add skill / source to crafting
Wishlist: Alt-click on any item to add it to the wishlist, alt-clicking on an item in the wishlist deletes it. There are buttons added to the Atlas panel and the loot browser to open the wishlist.
Partial Searching: Allows searching the whole AtlasLoot database for an item where you only know part of the name.
Quicklooks: Bind up to ten loot tables to 'Quicklook' buttons, allowing you to jump to them with only one click.

Slash Commands

'/al' or '/atlasloot' by itself brings up the loot browser.
'/atlasloot options' brings up the options menu.
'/atlasloot reset' resets the last viewed loot table (fixes disconnects when opening AtlasLoot) and moves all draggable frames back to the middle of the screen.
'/atlasloot mmb' toggles the minimap button on / off.
'/atlasloot togglebg' toggles background pictures on / off.

This is the major release for Patch 3.0.2. It is fully fuinctional and should be bug free, but it is still not
finished as we are still working on WotLK stuff. Major highlights include a new options screen, items in you wishlist
highlighted with a little star, much more data in a new more efficient format, move to Ace3 libraries, use of LibDataBroker
(and hence Titan Panel support) and the ability to resize the loot browser.

Should i delete the old folders from prev version of AtlasLoot Enhanced?
Vill the new one still contain the same stuff, just more compacted?

Yep, always delete the old stuff. The old modules use the wrong data format, use more memory and are not very organised

The latest version is a beta. To install it, you need to go to Configuration->Addon Settings->Global Release Preference->Beta.

Addon is not downloadable from Client for some reason. Search it in Website and force the client to DL it through the options given.

The Minimap button toggle is disabled if you are using the FuBar plugin. The FuBar plugin has a number of bugs right now, such as not saving its position, but there is not a proper Wrath compatible version of FuBar-Plugin or FuBar.

Little bug with the new v5.00.00

-You can't check/uncheck «Show basic minimap button». I dont wan't the minimap button, but I can't make it disappear.

Also, the minimap button doesn't save its posion. It always resets in lower left position of the minimap.

Great addon. Keep up the good work.

BEST FUCKING MOD BESIDES QH!!! I only wish that it had ALL the items though =[ Some are red, and if you click on them you DC. Other than that this mod FUCKING PWNS!!!

I use Atlasloot Enhanced but I'm having a problem with it. I works fine on all my toons except one. When I go to click the dropdown mean menu for an instance it won't come down. It also says "test" in between the dropdown menus. I've deleted and re downloaded the mod and it still doesn't work.

Something is not right/corrupt in the WTF folder for your toon. Go into your WTF folder, find the folder inside it with the name of the troublesome toon and delete that folder.

OK guys, a couple of notes about the versions up for download here.

For Pre-WotLK data grab v4.06.04-TestBeta. I know it says beta in the name, but it was an experiment in the new wowace/curse packager, nothing wrong with the mod itself.

Where we want testing is v5.00.00-Beta2. This is pretty much what we will be putting out for patch 3.0.2. It is not quite finished yet, particularly the Atlas integration (because there isn't a patch 3.0.2 compatible Atlas yet), but most of it is there. Please report any bugs, but don't bother telling us what is missing - we know :-)

As of today, the wowace repository is our working repository again, as I just moved the WotLK branch over. We had been working on it elsewhere, as it was a COMPLETE rewrite and wowace was moving to their new website and I didn't want to get caught.

The 'lastest' version is the beta version that will appear here in a few minutes. As you will see we were focussed on our re-write rather than a million tiny updates to the modules.

Oh, and as for AtlasLoot being a package, everything is still included in the zip files from here, it's just the zip files that got imported from the old wowace svn that are missing the modules. The file v4.06.04-TestBeta was my trial run of the packager, it contains everything for pre-WotLK WoW. If you were just updating modules in the past, that is not the best idea as we almost always make tweaks to the core mod too.

Yea i tried to download it by via the curse client so i click it and it says apllication cannont be found. Then another thing says the protocal specified for this adress in not valid, please make shure your adress is valid and try agin?? What goin on... is it my computer or the site.. BTW great site
