AtlasLoot Enhanced
History
AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.
What is Atlasloot

@Nightblade
This has been responded to a numerous times, the quick summary is that implementing that is not trivial.
Small suggestion (sorry if this isn't the correct place): When you click on Sets etc open your current character's class set by default.
Thanks so much for this addon, Daviesh!! Honestly, this mod doesn't get enough appreciation, imho. /cheer /bow /kneel /bewbs
The new wishlist is kick ass too btw :)
It should not be doing anything when idle, it's completely user driven. There are some caveats with how WoW reports CPU usage, it may be 1% of the CPU that WoW is using, not 1% of the total CPU time. I have never played with CPU profiling as memory is the bigger issue with this mod. The other possibility is that the CPU profiling values are averaged over time, the is a hell of a lot that happens at load time and in generating pages.
The third (an most likely, come to think of it) possibility is that AtlasLoot has the most recent Ace libraries on your system, hence (like with memory) all Ace's CPU usage is attributed to AtlasLoot. It would not surprise me to see 1% or more then, as a lot of Ace addons do stuff in real time or monitor heaps of event flags.
I've noticed that Atlasloot uses nearly 1% of my CPU when idle. That's a fair bit of CPU on a dual-core E6600 system :) Is there any reason for this, or is PerformanceFu incorrect?
Just consider addon such like PerformanceFu as a guide, it never will equal to your Windows Task Manager :)
@vblakeman
This is not a Mac specific issue, many people using 3rd party unzip programs on windows that are incorrectly set up have the same issue. That's why I link this image of the directory structure you need to people with strange issues: http://www.atlasloot.net/resources/atlaslootdir.jpg
Glad to hear you worked it out.
@vblakeman
I have an iMac myself and I do not understand why some people are having problems installing addons on an Mac. I never had any probs and actually I don't see an difference at installing WoW+addons on Windows or Mac.
I just installed atlas-loot enhanced v.4.03.00, and i had a hard time. My mac auto downloads and unzips, and created a file, however, i still could not get it to work.
Burnum's comment :(make sure if it's a set of mods you put them individually into the "AddOns" folder.) saved the day.
from the downloaded folder on my desktop, i pulled each individual file into the interface/add-ons folder in wow. Originally i had just put the whole downloaded folder into add-ons.
I don't now if this was common knowledge, but it was very hard to find. Perhaps, there could be a mac section of troubleshooting? Otherwise I did find it, but with so much info it can be difficult, and i am relatively literate in computers;)
@Gamefaq
Should be fixed.
Getting this Error with deDE Client:
[2008/02/15 06:05:41-1783-x1]: AtlasLoot\TableRegister\loottables.de.lua:420: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)
Whether a link is safe or not has absolutely nothing to do with AtlasLoot, I just ask the server if it has seen the items and it gives a yes or no answer. Remember the first day or so after a server restart are the worst for links. You can turn on autoquery (first option in the options menu) to automatically try to make links safe. If you get disconnected, just turn off autoquery again (type '/atlasloot options' to bring up the menu).
One of the best addon for WoW. Thanks Daviesh. But i have a problem. When i install new version of atlasloot my all safe links goes into unsafe (if i remember correcty u were fixed that). Now its back!
@D_zee315
If you downloaded the mod from here, it was not installed properly. probably due to settings in your unzipping program. The files from Curse contain EVERYTHING you need, they just need to be extracted to your AddOns directory like this: http://www.daviesh.net/atlasloot_enhanced/resources/atlaslootdir.jpg
@Daviesh
thx, that sorta confused me at 1st, but then i realized i had the folder, and the items in it, and in the right place, but it jst wudnt work, and found out that the BCInstances folder had a lil file missing, so i jst redownloaded it
it might be rly easy, or not even out yet, and im not to sure bout these things, and im new to add-ons, but where can i get "AtlasLoot_BCInstances"?... cuz it says i need that for the instances after BC
@DundaFodel
Your unzipping program did not keep all the folders where they are ment to be, and as such AtlasLoot can't find most of the files it needs. Make sure you have 'Preserve directory structure' enabled in you unzipping software. You directory should look like http://www.daviesh.net/atlasloot_enhanced/resources/atlaslootdir.jpg
i just downloaded the newest version 4.03.00 and when i open it where it would normally say the instance or boss name it just says "test" and is frozen on the last screen it was on before i upgraded ive tried reloading and still just frozen i can get it to go to the wishlist screen but as i cant search to add things to my wishlist makes the feature kinda useless, what should i do
@user123456
That would be easy if having a relational database in lua was easy. Unfortunately, it is not and I don't currently keep a callback table that says 'this loot table belongs to this boss which belongs to this instance'. It would use a hell of a lot of memory. When you add an item to the wishlist, the only info available to the function that performs that action is what you see on the screen, and the only useful part of that is the title of the loot page. Plans are on the drawing board to refine things a little bit, but I have a lot more urgent stuff to do.
For the wishlist, how about just adding the instance abbreviation to the beginning of the boss name and then (optionally?) sorting them by that string instead of the item name?
