AtlasLoot Enhanced
History
AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.
What is Atlasloot
AtlasLoot Enhanced is an UI mod allowing for loot tables of bosses to be browsed whenever needed within the game.

Slash Commands
- '/al' or '/atlasloot' by itself brings up the loot browser.
- '/atlasloot options' brings up the options menu.
- '/atlasloot reset' resets the last viewed loot table (fixes disconnects when opening AtlasLoot) and moves all draggable frames back to the middle of the screen.

Turn on lua errors in your Interface menu (the 'Display Lua Errors' check box in the centre of the screen) and see if anything comes up next time you log in. If that doesn't work, try a purge of your WTF folder.
hey, i'm not sure if this is a topic that has been brought alredy or not but here is my prob. i've downloaded this addon a few tiems now and it still won't work, not minimap button and /atlasloot is a no go. it says enabled in my addon folder but still nothing. any tips? thx
I use !profiler too, I find it to be a useful tool.
The resource usage is pretty much this: You can't have your cake and eat it too. To keep memory usage down, I use a LOT of tokens. For example, instead of writing white (for a common item) as |cffffffff, I write it as =q1= and have a parser that replaces the tokens with the actual text. This reduces memory usage at the cost of CPU usage (the two are inevitably linked) and as memory tends to be more of a ceiling than CPU time, it is a fair trade. That said, I am in the middle of an optimisation pass through the code, so haven't done a profile for a while.
It is also important to note that I thing the number you get is the % of resources being used by WoW at the moment, NOT the % of total resources available, so it will fluctuate a lot, especially in combat when the rest of WoW is doing more and the game defers addon processing if it runs out of resources. If it is using 4% of resources out of combat, but your CPU is only 50% utilised, it is not an issue. Finally, I should point out that this mod is not really a great one to be using in combat, so it was not designed with that in mind!
Hi there Daviesh,
I've been inspecting all my mods on performance, because i've been getting bad fps lately. When looking at the CPU usage of Atlas Loot, I'm a bit surpriced. Atlas loot is one of the top 5 of heavy CPU users among my addons. On average it's using 4% of the WoW resources.
Do you have any idea why it's constantly using resources of the CPU?
I used this mod to view the cpu and memory usage:

Indeed, old version of PitBull.
@jrc3

Your Old Instances need to be: World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\AtlasLoot_OldInstances
If it was supposed to be in the main AtlasLoot folder, it would already be in there in the zip file. The reason why it goes in the AddOns folder by itself is so that it can be loaded on demand.
The same is true for all the other modules.
i have the addon in World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\AtlasLoot_OldInstances and it still doesn't show the loot
ok, it works fine now, thank you
@Waresmywenis
As Daviesh already said: All the module folders need to be in your addons folder and not in your Atlasloot one.
i deleted everything and redownloaded and it automatically places the Atlasloot_OldInstances in my Atlasloot Enhanced v4 folder...should it not be in there? and i just put everything in WoW/interface/addons...its how i do all my other adds and its worked, so tell me if it isnt supposed to be there either.
Is the AtlasLoot_OldInstances folder in your AddOns folder? It is a mod by itself, it should NOT be in the AtlasLoot folder.
ok, i can get the add to show up by typing /atlasloot but when i try to search for loots it tells me i need atlasloot_oldinstances, i checked my interface adds and all parts of the mod are in there...if this mod isn't missing any parts than i dont know what i did wrong
@illuminatus206: Cosmos is a huge, mammoth collection of mods, you don't want to be installing all of that when you are already having issues, it just compounds the problem.
I assume both you and Pahco87 have tried the simple checks:
1) Is the addon listed in the addons screen at login (should see AtlasLoot Enhanced, AtlasLoot_BCInstances, etc)?
2) Are error messages turned on? If you are not sure, type in your chat window the following and relog: /console SET scriptErrors "1"
3) Does the mod work if all other mods are disabled?
4) Does the mod work if all AtlasLoot folders are deleted and reinstalled from here?
5) Does the mod work if your WTF folder is renamed/removed/deleted?
If you have done all those checks, then I have the following questions:
1) What other errors (if any) appear? The mod BugSack is great for capturing multiple errors
2) What language do you use?
3) Where or how did you download the mod?
PS: Curse's comment markup sucks! I can't be bothered wikifying it.
Daviesh: You can use BBCode now. :)
Im getting an error message it goes as follows
interface/addOns/atlasloot/constants/constants.en.lua.14: attempt to call global 'Ace Library' (a nil value)
regualar atlas works fine but not atlas loot enhance
I am getting the same error message as Evolon but I downloaded the Ace2 libraries and I am still getting the error messages and I still can't use Atlas Loot. I downloaded the new version and it worked. Then I downloaded Cosmos and Bartender3, and it stopped working, so I deleted everything and redownloaded Atlas Loot, from here, and I can;t get it to work anymore
Turn on error messages, Blizzard hides problems by default. To do this, type the following in your chat window: /console SET scriptErrors "1"
@Vestar
You can only see items that have dropped on your server/bg group. So until some guilds do Hyjal or BT you will not be able to see drops from there.
