What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?

The Tooltip for auldlangsyne fu has always bugged me, mainly because it has always been different than the tooltip for everything else in fubar. Now days I use Titan panel instead of fubar and all my plugins are LDB compliant. What I have noticed about almost all of the LDB broker plugins is they all pretty much use Libqtip to generate the tooltip for them instead of having the plugin generate its own tooltip. This is much better I believe because it allows all your plugins tooltips to look the same. The library can be found here http://www.wowace.com/addons/libqtip-1-0/.

I am going to provide a screenshot of another competing addon called social state, I would like to note that I very much prefer auldlangsyne. Mainly because of all the other more robust features like friend list syncing and coloring and guild list coloring etc. Social State is only a LDB broker display and that's it, however I must admit it LOOKS much better. I believe Torhal himself did most of the qtip intergration for social state, as I believe the author of social state is fairly new and doesn't know a lot.

And then Below is a screen shot of the exact same data on the Auldlangsyne tooltip using fubartobroker and titan panel. I think you would have to agree that social state is more elegant. Not to mention that it matches every other tooltip of my other titan panel plugins, because qtip generates them all the same way not the individual plugins making them.

AuldLangSyne uses Tablet-2.0. It's old but it was what everyone used back when AuldLangSyne was written. So really ALS isn't doing to tooltip on its own either.

It is in need of a rewrite. To use more modern libraries. But atm I'm concentrating on getting it functioning under 3.3.5. I'll probably rewrite the whole thing for Cata.
