Friends list improvements: notes, remembering the information of offline friends, friend list syncing and backups, and a fubar plugin for it all
The Note on the friends list is all the way on the right side of my screen and only shows one player, stays up whether friends list is open or closed. Note on the Guild panel is fine. ...but you probably already are aware of that.
Turning off 'Notes' until you get it sorted (one of the nicest things about this add on is that note option =D
Should be fixed in the alpha builds now. Current known issues:
Info Module: Doesn't play nice with the Blizzard built in Note feature. Taints the raid interface.
Note Module: Notes don't know about the new headers on the Ignore list so the button are on the wrong characters. Breaks the Set Focus menu item from unit frames (this is broken anyway for 3rd party unit frames).
Panel Module: Broken, probably been broken for a long time.
All: None of the modules support Battle.Net friends, I haven't worked on supporting this yet, first priority was fixing the existing functionality that was broken.
on that note Shefki, do you plan to add support to showing the BNet friends if you use auldlangsyne as a fubar/titan panel plugin? i have it compatible with titan panel via Fubar2Broker.
either download the updated library. alternatively, download the updated fubar that includes the updated library. i really wish this would get an update to include the new realid features.
Yes, very broken, and since there hasn't been any updates on this addon in almost a year, I don't think we will see it working again. 'tis a sad day :(
Time since last update isn't necessarily an indication that an addon has been abandoned. Sometimes an "update" isn't necessary until something changes in-game, so that the addon actually needs to be updated.
I have aproblem with this addon when its attached to Titan Panel via Fubar2Broker. Sometimes the frame width screws up the lay out. Screenschots wiull show what I mean.
Had to disable Notes to be able to right-click focus on a target, kept getting a Blizzard UI only error, that kept walking through different addons.
Spent an afternoon joyously going through add addon, try setting focus, till it quit when ALS was re-enabled. It gave me the Blizzard UI error on Notes, disabled Notes... no problems for the last few days...

@kimmycat65 - First, you can type /als for a help menu. The FuBar plugin should be included as ichik said; right click your FuBar or open the options for FuBar and enable the plugin there. If that doesn't work, turn off all other addons except FuBar and ALS and try it; it could be a conflict with another addon. You also might try manually installing if you usually automatically install; sometimes things get whacked.

I made a little change in AuldLangSyne_Info/Info.lua to record when a friend left his guild:
Replace
line with
block. You can find the diff here: http:taki.alkoholista.hu/WoW/Info.lua.diff
When notes is enabled, the notes icon normally in the friends list pane is now at the far right edge of the screen.
Turning off Notes, Panel and FriendList will stop any errors for now.

Somehow this addon no longer gets pushed to curse?
