Baggins
Inventory Management with virtual view divided into sections.
Now with baggins you can not only separate your bags into virtual view of your inventory but organize the items in your virtual view by item type! Bag options with endless possibilities. Add/remove/create categories, change skin of the view baggins does it all! Customize your bags to show items exactly how you like! No more looking for items and not being able to find them, look and know exactly where they should be!
For example one bag with profession items, one bag with gear, and so much more! You can even make your own categories!
You can use the minimap icon or /baggins to open the options window.
Thanks.
Let me clarify that question. I've used quite a few bag addons, but what always kept me coming back to baggins was the configurable categories. If another mod JUST had categories for new items and outfitter sets, then I'd be happy.
You can also right-click Baggins and go to "Bag/Config" (or something like that). In the list at the left, select the bag you wish to reconfigure. On the right, you can delete or disable the bag. You can also do this for categories.
I hated having stuff show in multiple categories, and set it to compress everything into one stack, and then I removed extra categories and bags like the "New" category and the "Gathered" category. I wound up with a bag for Trade Materials with one category "Mats", a bag for consumables separated into "Food", "Drink" and "Health" (I think, might be wrong about that last one). A bag for "Equipment", and one for "Other". All new items are marked as "New" but go into the proper bag. All grey items show up in the "Other" bag in the "Trash" category.
If you need more specific instructions, send me a message if you can, and I'll try to help. :)
1) Open baggins.lua
2) find the line "self:Hook("BankFrame_OnEvent", true)"
3) Comment it out by putting -- in front of it. The final line should look kinda like
-- self:Hook("BankFrame_OnEvent", true)
of course it doesn't help you if you wanted to use the baggins bank, but at least it's a start.
Fantastic mod!
Minor bug with QuestHelper: when an item is required for a quest, QH will put something like "For Quest Divination: Gorefiend's Truncheon... Your Progress: 1/1" in the item tooltip. For some reason, this extra text is not displayed on the items when viewed by Baggins, but is correctly displayed if you dig through the blizzard default bags. Actually, more accurately, the extra text is displayed for a moment, and then disappears.
I love Baggins. Great job on the addon guys!
Any possibility of an update using the latest LibPeriodicTable? I've manually installed LPT-3.1, and it works great. It'd just be nice to have the embedded Lib up to date.
Please keep up the great work BTW... and don't hate me because of all my suggestion tickets. ;p
