I use Bartender togeather with another addon called Button Forge, that seems broken in the beta.
This gave me the idea to add an enhancement request for Bartender instead.

What I would like is:

1. When you toggle the Bar Lock (and all bars go green)

2. In the Bartender Menu area (the small window with the Lock-button) there should be a new button called "Add OD-bar" (a.k.a. on-demand-bar)... 

3. Clicking this should add a 1x1 button bar that is not an action bar but can:

- hold items, macros, spells, etc

- act like an action bar if wanted

- is resizeable, rescalable

- can be added rows and cols to on the fly

Why this enhancement?

I like to use this as a complement to the action bars. As healer I use HealBot and I add a few small ButtonForge-bars just next to the HB frames, with some macros, pots and potions, etc. When gathering I put up a temp bar with the resources as icons so I quickly see the amount I have. When questing I quickly add a big 1x1 quest item button... etc, etc. Would be nice to have this integrated in Bartender instead of having to rely on another addon.
