FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

1) Love the addon
2) I tricked out my UI so it looks really cool in first person, but I like when I'm not raiding or doing 5-mans to be able to make my bars dissapear, I know I can open the menu and do each bar individually, but I was wondering if there was maybe a text command for this? So then I could make a macro with the command, make a new bar, make it invisible and hotkey it. BTW not like dissapear, I mean like make the visibility at 0 until I mouse over them.
3) =D
I am using the 3 row preset that comes with bartender4. In the second and third rows I have hotkeys mapped. Now I believe these to be bar 5 and 6, but I have looked in the options screen and both bars 5 and 6 have the show hotkeys option enabled - yet no hotkeys are shown.
Can you advise how I get these hotkeys to show on the buttons?
I want to have my action bars faded to a user set value when not in combat, and when entering combat i want the bars to be fully visible. Is this doable with bartender4?
I have version 4.4.17 and for a while the problem with the disappearing micro menu was fixed with this updated version, but all of a sudden it has appeared again. Oddly though so far it is only happening on my priest, and only when in my primary shadow spec. When in holy spec it doesn't happen at all. So currently if I zone my micro menu is vanishing again while I'm in my shadow spec. Is anyone else having the problem, and is a fix likely? Or has my version just bugged some how?
Any ideas, or help appreciated.
I'm trying to create button and bar profiles, but it's not working properly.
I have say a "default" profile for my rogue for example which is set up perfectly, but I want to set up a different bar and button profile for a different spec, but when I do set up a second button and bar profile my "default" rogue profile gets changed to the new profile as well.
I end up having 2-4 different profiles that are all the same.
Example: for instant styles, i'd like to have the immediate action. But for styles with cooldown, or potions, I'd rather have the default setting, that the action is done after releasing the key.
Bug: the ActionBar does not change for 3 Quests in Hyial - the mental training, the speech and when you have to slay the little pit lord.
Anyway, thank you for your work :)
I tried with the MoveAnything addon, and can't see option in that one to move the sound one you get for the blind drake, or the corruption bar for Cho'Gall. So if you do know what your boyfriend did let me know, as don't really want to have to move all my buttons just for couple of bosses.
I'm sure I saw this mentioned here before but can't find it now. I like Bartender a lot, but I'm finding I'm missing boss bars in some of the raid instances because of it.
For example I don't see the corruption level bar in the Cho'gall fight. I can't see an option in the bartender options that will turn it on or off, so I assume its some other issue with bartender and blizzard UI. Can someone tell me how I can have the boss bars that get added on some bosses without screwing up my bartender setup?
Thanks
You might want to try some addons that move things (MoveAnything) or addons specifically for moving Corruption/Sound bars to get them out from underneath your Bartender bars if that is the case. Good luck!
/move PlayerPowerBarAlt
now that you have MoveAnything installed, apparently.
Unfortunately, his Sound bar is still half-visible so he never bothered to move it. XD
Thanks!
anyone having the same problem and have some info? so i can take that stupid macro off then
