FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

In Bartender it is possible to hide hotkeys for each action bar - it doesn't hide them completely rather it replaces them with a small circle that is either white or red depending whether or not the target is in range and whether or not a particular spell is applicable to the target. This worked fine prior to the patch - although I can’t remember which version of Bartender I had installed at that time.
In the standard WoW interface settings there are check boxes which allow you to choose which of the standard action bars are displayed. Previously these check boxes could be ignored since the ones enabled in Bartender took precedence, I discovered last night that unless they are also checked in the WoW interface the hotkey range indication for that bar no longer gets updated.
The latest version of Button Facade seems to further break hotkey range indication since it moves the my hotkey markers outside of the button icons (as well as any macro names) so I disabled every single addon except Bartender and deleted the Bartender WTF file to ensure no old settings were confusing the issue.
With just Bartender active and all the action bars checked in the WoW interface, the hotkey range indication does seem to work but it can take so long (20 – 30 seconds) for the indicators to change they are all but unusable.
I’m not lagging and I have 60 fps so I doubt it is a shortage of processing power.
fixed again by disabling bartender. so it is a bartender issue, but not a constant bug.
Is there a fix? Or do we need an update?
when bartender is enabled the blizzard ui believes that neither of the right two action bars (normally available through blizzard ui) are enabled. This causes the objectives drop down button to become fixed on the far right hand side of the screen instead of pushing it out to allow for the existence of the extra action bars. Let me know if anyone has a fix for this, thx.
I have a bartender dual spec module that seems to stopped working in patch 4.0
if you check the addon description above... you would find that issue in the FAQ ;) >>>
Q: When i drag from one button to another, the target button gets picked up even when locked!
A: This is a bug and will be fixed in 4.4.12. You can temporarily fix it yourself by installing the alpha version from LibActionButton-1.0 from WoWAce manually.
Functionality: Even though Button lock is checked, the user is able to move the spells
Description: Even though Button lock is checked, the user is able to move the spells. If he clicks on a spell and holds the mouse click and then moves to another spell and releases, the spell can be moved. Bag bug especially when dueling
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start wow, enable bartender 4 and enable Button lock from /bt interface
2. Put at least 2 spells on a bartender bar
3. Click on a spell and hold mouse button
4. Move to another spell and release
5. Notice the spell can be moved out of the bar
