This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.
It would be nice if there were a few more options for the timers such as colors and where the timers are relative to their corresponding buff (above, below, on the side)
I really wanted to give this a chance because it seemed like a simple and light alternative to all those other buff addons out there.
The sad truth though, it does not even come close to the configurability of similar addons all the while being extremely user unfriendly with no graphical interface to adjust settings whatsoever.
This is all minor, I could live with that.
However what made me really angry and lead towards deleting this addon for good and getting my good old SBF back is something very basic though.
Vertical growth does NOT WORK AT ALL!!
This means if you prefer two vertical buff bars with the first bar at the right side of your screen filling up completely before the second bar left to it gets filled you are F***** !
Sorry but this addon blows.
no reason whatsoever to not go with a well developed one like SBF...
Vertical growth works, set your columns to 1 and first growth to vertically. Theres nothing wrong with this addon if you take a few minutes to play with it.
Buffalo was tagged by my taintLog.txt as causing errors regarding the vehicle UI, which prevented the vehicle UI from loading when I entered one in combat and also prevented my normal UI from loading when dismounting (from a vehicle) in combat. I eventually had to disable the mod so I could effectively participate in Malygos phase 3.
Is anyone else seeing these issues? I've considered that it may be caused by my particular mod configuration or perhaps by a mod conflict with another mod I use.
I used /Buffalo Buffs timers whiteTimer,
and /Buffalo Buffs timers whiteTimer on,
but neither of those work and it stays yellow what comes up in chat says,
Buffalo: Option /buffalo buffs timers whiteTimer is disabled.
I type the same thing again, but its doesn`t say: is enabled. at the bottom
How do I make it work?
This addon is causing my framerate to drop to 2-5fps during bossfights in 25 man raids. I did some troubleshooting and after enabling CPU polling in Fubar, I see that Buffalo is spiking to 10-12% CPU usage during fights. As soon as the fight ends or I die it calms down and I resume having playable framerates. I don't have the most powerful CPU (old P4 3.0 HT) but I don't think a buff display should be using so much CPU time. I won't be re-enabling this addon for a while, but I like it very much and hope to see the issue resolved.
/buffalo buffs flashing
/buffalo debuffs flashing
