What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
I would like a way to select all of an item. Let's say that in my inbox, I have 20 mails of Copper Ore (various stack sizes per mail), 22 mails of Copper Bars (again, various sizes), and eight random mails (which may or may not contain items). I would like some sort of one-click option to select all the Copper Bars, and with another of the same click to select all the Copper Ore.
Please provide any additional information below.
The way I envision this is as follows. In the config screen, you define a list of actions. Each of those has a drop-down which allows the user to select a key combination in association with a click. So, the list of actions might be as follows:
Select Item Take Item Return Item Delete Item Select All of this item
Across from each of those would be a drop-down box containing the following options:
Click Control-click Alt-Click Shift-Click Control-Alt-Click Control-Shift-Click Alt-Shift-Click Control-Alt-Shift-Click
If you select, say, Control-Click for the action "Delete Item", then the Control-Click option is removed from the drop-down for the other actions. This way, the user would be able to customize the action associated with each click combination.
Future actions that might be possible include (just off the top of my head, not actually requesting any of this now): Select all items with the same stack size Forward item (opens send mail window) Auto-forward item (removes item from mail, deletes mail, then automatically sends the item to a pre-defined character)
Here's another angle..
We're already used to being able to shift-click on an item to paste it as a link.
When viewing the list, shift-click an item to have its text automatically added to the search field, limiting the list to just those items. (the search field also needs some sort of 'exact match' feature)
The user can 'take all'. When the list is empty, automatically remove the text from the search field.
