CalendarExtras
CalendarExtras adds some features to hopefully make the ingame calendar a bit more bearable to use.
Features
Sorting by role
Adds fourth sorting method to the create/view event windows, that lets you sort the invite-list by role (tank/healer/melee/ranged). People of the same role are hardcoded to first be sorted by status and lastly by name.
You can change roles by right-clicking the player in question and selecting the bottom option Set Role
Extra status indicators
Shows a check mark next to players who are in the group already, and dims offline players.
Export invitees
Adds a tab at the bottom of the event window which pops up an editbox, letting you copy out basic data of the event and a formatted list of the invited players.
Another editbox is included to set the format of each line. Valid tokens are: NAME, LEVEL, CLASS, STATUS, RANK, MOD and %t for the tab-character
Mass-select
Select multiple people from the invite-list like you would in any standard GUI. Use shift/ctrl to range/add-to select. All the right-click menu options apply to all the selected players
Invite-raid
Invite the current raid to a new or existing event, either by right-clicking the Invite button, or going to the Mass Invite screen, and selecting Invite current raid/party.
Note: This feature is horrendously slow, and I'm not sure if it can be made any faster, so you will have to wait a few extra seconds if you're inviting all 25 players.
Possible at all to have an option to sort by date/time of invite acceptance? This info is shown in a tooltip when you hover over a person by blizzard default, but it is really difficult sometimes to sort out who should be on standby without having to hover over everyone on the list and keep track of which 25 people accepted their invites first...etc.
I see that you have the export feature there, which I assume is so that you can copy paste to some sort of record or whatever. What would be really handy tho would be an import feature, so that you could add a list of people to the event without having to type them individually. I presume this is somehow possible since Blizz already has a mass invite feature for guild members.
The export string is already sorted alphabetically, so if you wanted to sort it by status and then name, change the export format to "STATUS NAME" as an example. It's alphabetical though, so "accepted" would be before "confirmed" and "out" before "standby" and so on, but anyway. Was this what you meant?
I could of course make it always sort the way the list is sorted in the event screen, if that would be better.
Oh and yes you can post requests here, or make a ticket :)
hi there!
loving the extra's for my list there mate. gives me a good overview of what i can expect for a raidnight.
do you think it's possible to sort the export raiding list to make it show the people who accepted first and then the ones who declined? preferably sorted to tank, heal and dps within the accepted and declined ones.
kinda like this
accepted
- accepted tank
- accepted tank
- accepted healer
- accepted healer
- accepted healer
- accepted dps
- accepted dps
- accepted dps
- accepted dps
- accepted dps
declined
- declined player
- declined player
- declined player
i always make a list of available people and sort them into their roles. but an overview of all available people for a night sorted withtin their roles would make my life a WHOLE lot easier.
is this possible? or even the right place to request it?
I'd like to request a couple of things :
1. Online/Offline. Small Check Icon or Small X Icon would work.
2. Display Member Rank in the list. Sortable would be nice, but not necessary.
Question : Does it store the roll thing you have in there to the files? Can other people see the roles if they have the mod installed?
About the roles, currently they're just saved for yourself, other people with the mod would of course be able to set the roles themselves but won't see how you've set them.
I fear syncing of roles would be too much hassle to get working for relatively small gain, but I'll keep it in mind if I would come up with a simple system for it
I do have some issue though. I began using it on one of my alts. Everything works perfectly. Now, I try to use it on my main and it shows that it is selected from the addons menu, but it doesn't start the addon in-game. There is no export tab and no roles column. However, there is a roles option when I right-click a player on an event. So, I guess it's trying to load the addon.
