Cancel Pet Fight
Prompts about canceling the current pet battle/duel if no rare pet is found on the opposing team. Useful when trying to catch only rare (blue) pets.
There are no settings. Simply start a pet battle. If there are no rare pets in the opposing team, there will be a prompt asking you to continue or cancel the fight. Simply pressing "Escape" on your keyboard, or "Cancel" in the dialogue menu will cancel the pet battle.
Unfortunately the "Cancel" function requires a hardware event and can't be automatically fired.
Commands
- /cpf chat - toggles printing the current opposing team to chat
- /cpf popup - toggles between the old mode (displaying a pop-up) or the new overlay mode (new overlay mode is by default)
- /cpf mark - toggle the raid marking option
- Shift+Clicking the Forfeit button on the PetBattle UI will immediately cancel the battle without any confirmation!

Posted Oct 28, 2012No on the 1st part, as the game needs a hardware input (a key pressed) to forfeit the pet battle, can't be done automatically, I'm afraid.
I have to think about the 2nd one, but all I could do is prompt the cancelation.

I don't have Localization plans yet, it would add a lot of libraries and extra code and the whole code of the addon is < 30 lines right now.
Localization would make it more than 100 lines... It's not set in stone, you never known when I'm getting around to do that :)

Posted Oct 21, 2012I love this addon. But found a problem was fighing 2 pets and it poped saying no rare but when the fight ended it said the second pet was a rare.

Posted Oct 17, 2012Would defeat the purpose of this addon.
If you want to see which pet is rare from the ones you're fighting, I suggest you give Pet Theory a try. They can both be used at the same time (which is what I'm using at the moment).
But I will add a small gimmick to print to chat the pets and their quality.

Posted Oct 16, 2012I heven't tried it yet (servers are still down) but I just have a question. Does it actually cancel the petbattle not just a forfeit? I'm asking since that's exactly what I'm looking for. I sometimes (or most times) make a mistake and my pet team would be too high a level to battle the pet that I'm trying to capture and kill it unintentionally. Would be nice to cancel the battle and do it over with a new team.

Posted Oct 16, 2012Unfortunately the only option is to forfeit. Maybe I should have chosen a better name for it.
All it does is when you initiate a pet battle and the other team has no rare pets in it, will prompt you to cancel (forfeit) or keep fighting. Pressing the Escape key will forfeit the battle.
