Cartographer 3.0
This is a map addon for World of Warcraft that replaces the map and offers shiny features.
The idea is for it to work very much like Google Maps, only in-game.
Cartographer 3.0 is brand new, "experimental" version of Cartographer.

(It's near the top of Cartographer.lua) and remove " from the line underneath

Posted May 22, 2008Looks almost like a copy of Carbonite's map. Except that Carbonite combines the map and mini map, and zooms automatically as necessary. All the zoom functions of zooming in, down to the minimap quality has already been presented to them. It's also the one reason after trying it, I didn't switch back to questhelper.
I hope this version of Cartographer works for me, as I have not been able to get the previous versions to work at all on this system.
Kudos to you ckknight on making this version like Carbonite.

Posted May 22, 2008Well, my goal is to not use >5 MiB of memory. I want to keep it relatively slim. I liked how Carbonite did it, but was like, hey, I could do better.
I'm an inherently uncreative person, the best I can do is improve upon others' ideas.
