I downloaded this from wowace just now and I think its great - but unless I can find a way to remove its Icon from the minimap I wont be able to use it - everytime I mouse ove the icon - the whole map pops up and its getting realy annoying. Ive gone into the cartography menu and unclicked show minimap icon but it wont go. Any ideas?

How do I reset the map position? Accidently locked and enlarged it so that the scale option is outside my screen. Don't ask me how that happened, just tell me how to fix it ;) ^^

Is it pos to make notes and save them to dif profiles? Im trying to do quest logs based on Levels 1-10, 11-20 but it seems that it dont save the notes seprate to the profile.

perhaps im doing something wrong?

Bummed because this mod is really promising, but I also get the 269 error and it isn't tracking my mining nodes properly. Also, I cannot zoom out of the map! When I right click, it shows the larger map for a split second and forces me back to the zone I am in.

If all this were working properly, the only thing I'd miss about metamap is the tiny set of coords that appears in the minimap. Any chance those can be put in?

great addon, also getting the 269 error though. I've noticed with mining it only makes a mark on the map if you don't have enough skill to mine the vein, if you can mine it then no mark is made. Message: ..\AddOns\Cartographer_Mining\addon.lua line 269:

 bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got number) 

I missing updates of mining and herbalism plugins for this addon :(

excellent addon. I am really enjoying it. however, on occasion when logging into a mining character (I have it set to default setting to track mines if the character has the profession), I get the following error message:

any ideas why, and if it's a setting I have messed up or?

mod is working great for me.

My only question is...How do I merge two notes that are close together?

The version I have (r25291) doesnt show Netherbloom on a french client. I saw the translation is missing, guess you didnt have the input. The netherbloom in french server is called "Néantine" Ancient lichen = Lichen ancien Flame Cap = Chapeflamme

Ok, the Cartographer_Mining and Cartographer_Herbalism are not in the package anymore, why? They were present in the "Cartographer-r19040" version, but not in the two most recent version of cartographer. Can we expect to see them again soon? I really hope so, because it's very usefull. Otherwise, great mod!

I cannot get the MINING veins to show up at all in this addon????

It says "Put the Cartographer folder, Cartographer_Herbalism, and Cartographer_Mining into \World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\ " yet the zip file has no Cartographer_Mining folder? Was this taken out of the version or is it just buggy to all hell?

I remember in Gatherer that when gathering herbs and ore Gatherer would remember the ore vein or herb even if you didn't had that skill, so my priest who was herbalist also tracked ore veins for my warrior. Neat, could it be done with Cartographer maybe?

I can't tell but, do they all use same addons. i mean do your druid and mage have some of addons disabled that, the other chars have enabled or difrent? .

Or. It can meaby be the folders with your carecter information in \World Of Warcraft\WTF

yes, they use the same AddOn's (as written - they all use the same Profile in Cartographer). I haven't installed any cartographer plug-in's.

well, there aren't any cartographer-files in the wtf/account/realm subfolders - ony in wtf/account/savedvariables - ONE file for all char's.

i have deleted the .lua in the wtf-folder as well - tried it with clean installations... same problem. I have tried all cartographer-versions since december 06 - same problems with every version ?!?

I have just tried out this addon, I like it except for the fact I use minimap button bag. All the gathering info goes into the button bag and I have to keep clicking the items I gather out one at a time. Other than that a great addon.

I m having an issure where my chat is being spammed with the "Position" etc... of another guildmember's information. But just one that had the cartographer. He, however, is not being spammed with that chat.

Any thoughts? Version incompatibility? I have f25669. I do not know which version he has.
