Overall a better choice than prat in my opinion. Nice work. The config UI is significantly easier to follow, and there are several useful modules prat doesn't have. I especially like Tiny Chat :)

Best chat mod that Ive ever seen! Tons of useful and handy features, yet feels natural and takes less than 10 minutes to get used to. I love this addon, and would never want to be without it now. Job well done.

To anyone thinking of installing: do it! Makes the chatbox look sleeker and less obtrusive, and it adds so many cool things like mousewheel scrolling, text-tweaking, copy-and-pasting and tons more. This is one of those rare addons that sets a new standard of quality.

I feel like an idiot, but how do I move the chat boxes. They seem to be locked in place. I don't have an otion to unlock and move them. (shift-click doesn't work and there is no tabs on them like regular Blizzard chats do). Help pls and ty

From what I know of other addons, the linking problem is purely because the others don't have the addon. The addon sends a code (not a link) which then gets decoded by the addon as a link (so yes you see it as a link).

By default it's not possible to send them, hence this 'workaround'

Is there a way to move the text box in which you type in to the top of the chat box rather than it being on the bottom?

There is a drop down box to select this for the edit box options

I was wondering if this mod has a feature in it to filter out 'keywords' from general or trade channels? For example, if someone says in general, "LFM VOA" or "LF Scribe" that if I had the keywords, "VOA or Scribe" listed it would alert me somehow. There use to be a mod like this called trinity chat, but it died out.

Would you or anyone else have an idea what mod would allow of keyword filter alerts? Thanks so much!

I have the same problem. It started when I started using Carbonite.

Hello,
I have started using this addon recently and most of the features are great, easily configurable and largely self-explaining.
Though there is one function I would like to use, but could not figure out how it works: the "recording" or "auto-logging".
Is there some documentation I could read on this or could someone explain how it is supposed to work?

I have found my answer digging a little bit more: "the chat log is in the standard WoW log folder"...

Having had a look at the log, I have a new question though: would it be possible to allow logging only a selected set of channels or only what displays on a specific chat tab?
The reason behind this request is that when I try to record a conversation inside a capital city, with all the rubbish goldspam, "rush" requests and "group/guild" misplaced requests on the Commerce channel, editing the resulting log becomes a titanesque job :).
