How to get it to work

Open up your companion window (pets or mounts) and click the scan button. This will open up another window which will allow you to see which companions you are missing, along with how to acquire them.

Commands

There are currently no slash commands.

Please use the WowAce tracker to add suggestions and feature requests. Not all suggestions will be accepted: there are many people who use this addon, each with separate views. We will, however, try to make it as user friendly as possible...but when a decision is made please accept it.

Yeah, I did not add the Zipao Tiger to Collectinator right when Blizzard made it available to the Asia region...and from what I gathered they were only offering it for a certain period of time to people there that renew their accounts. So that's the reason for adding it to Collectinator and including the retired flag to it.

wth happend with this addon last update? i cant use my mouse buttons, left summon mount, right minipet, cant do shit ingame now...
how to change this?

No problems here.

Um, did you completely close wow when you updated Collectinator, then start wow back up and log in?

Using any other pet/mount frame addons at all?
Disable all addons except Collectinator and see if you still have the problem?

i use the addon chill effect from this website, i cannot see the scan button, would there be a way to intergrade this to work with display change addons?

So how do we use the WarcraftPets functionality? is there a slash command to use, as their site says, within YOUR addon? Or do we still need to get theirs?

Also, one of the latest *beta* quality revisions of Collectinator (probably beta 13) started to stall the whole game for the blink of an eye every time I loot something (bodies, fishing, whatever). As long as I keep Collectinator disabled this doesn't happen any more.
I'm not complaining here since it's beta and all and I usually don't have it loaded when I'm not explicitly looking for the next pet/mount to catch. Just wanted to let you know - and if anyone else experiences those mini-stalls, reverting to a previous revision might help.

The only thing that's changed in months is additions/corrections to the database - I've been concentrating solely on Ackis Recipe List. Collectinator is also not watching for any loot events, so the fact that you're experiencing this at all is perplexing.

I just wanted you to know that Collectinator is not compatible with the addon ChillEffect here at Curse.

ChillEffect is an addon that displays all of your character stats where your portrait is in the paperdoll. This is the most useful point of the addon; however, the reason it is not compatible is because ChillEffect also changes the pet tab for companions and mounts. It makes it into a list instead of default behavior.

I don't expect you to make this compatible and I imagine you would prefer I try and let the author of ChillEffect know instead so I will.

But just in case I am letting you know.

I just noticed something that started happening after I installed this addon.

I have been using the same addons for six months to 1.5 years with no problem, they all work fine together and whatnot is what I saying. But today after I installed Collectinator it causes me to disconnect from the game server if I do a /rl (/reload ui) command. If I disable Collectinator I can reload the UI without problem.

After I use the /rl (reload ui command) upon entering the game world it locks up for 10-15 seconds then it disconnects me from the game server.

On alliance all horde city pets and horde Argent Tournament pets do not show up in database. (currently using Beta9)

Check your faction filter, and it will work better in Beta 10

By the way, there are 2 mini-pets missing (the ones of Burning Crusade collector edition's): "collier de dragonnet du néant" and "oeuf d'Albie". IDs are 69535 and 69536. I don't know which ID belongs to which mini pet ; sorry. I get the message that the IDs are missing as soon as I open my mail box.
