Decursive key benefits
Ease of use:
- Decursive supports all classes with cleansing abilities and configures itself automatically, it works straight out of the box, no configuration is required.
- Intuitive interface and detailed options, Decursive is suitable for simple usage and power users.
Control what and who you want to dispel:
- Easily Filter out afflictions you don't want to cure or that are useless to remove by class (some are pre-configured). (Such as afflictions affecting mana on non-mana classes, etc...).
- Choose between what you can dispel (magic, curses, poison, diseases, charms) choosing their priority. (this allows you to share the cleansing work with other players effectively)
- Prioritize or exclude members. (keep players, classes, or raid groups in a specific order to cleanse them in order of importance)
Manage Mind controlled units:
- If you are a Mage, a Druid or a Shaman you can Polymorph/Cyclone/Hex mind-controlled players.
- In any case Decursive will allow you to target mind controlled units easily.
- Decursive supports magic charming affect removal for Shamans (Purge and Hex), Priests (Dispel Magic), Hunters (Tranquilizing Shot), and Warlocks (Fellhunter and Doomguards spells).
Don't waste time:
- Your cleansing spell Cooldown is displayed to maximize your dispel speed.
- An automatic blacklist will prevent you from loosing time on players who can't be dispelled. (player 'out of line of sight' for example).
- Decursive choose a logical cleansing order depending on your current position in the raid. (preventing dispel concurrence between players and thus 'nothing to dispel' messages)
React faster:
- Visual and/or auditive alerts when someone needs your attention and can be dispelled.
- Special sound alert when Unstable Affliction is detected and you're about to dispel it.
- Visual and auditive alert when your dispel attempts are resisted or fail.
Integration in any interface:
- Decursive is designed to save screen real estate and to be forgotten when not needed.
- Many options allow you to customize Decursive appearance and interface behavior.
- All Decursive alert colors can be modified making it suitable for color-blind people.
Highly optimized and effective coding:
- Decursive was developed with memory and CPU usage in mind, installing Decursive won't affect your frame rate even in the worst battle conditions.
- Bug free: bugs are not tolerated in Decursive.
In brief, what you get with Decursive is effectiveness, a player using Decursive will always dispel faster than other players.

Hello, can somebody please guide me, how do I bind cleanse spell from symbiosis to right click of the mouse?
I can't figure it out.
Thank you
As the developer I'd be interested to know why you can't figure it out, you're not the first person to ask this question so it means there is something needing improvement...
You can either change the priorities set for each type of affliction (types being bound to actual spells). This is the preffered way since it also changes what Decursive will show you first or you can change the mouse-button associated to each priority. These two possibilities are available in different thumbnails of the MUF's option panel that you can display by typing /Decursive.
Thank you. I think I had old version of decursive, it recognises symbiosis now. I was also struggeling with binding spells to mouse button because I'm used to addons such as healbot where binding is direct (u bind the spell for mouse button, not the affliction type u want to cure) so it took me a while to realise how it works. But it works now, thank you=)
Is there a way to disable the bug reporting? I have BugGrabber and BugSack installed, and send information about bugs to writers, but when something hits and sets off the Decursive, it takes up almost all of my chat window.
I am aware of the bugs, I deal with them, I am not a programmer, and having my entire chat window suddenly disappear under a 'too many Lua errors' message is not terribly effective.
not without editing Decursive's code. The best you can do is to disable/replace the add-ons causing those errors because they are probably not doing there job anyway
Considering one of them is Recount, one of them is Omen, and one of them is Blizzard Item Socketing UI, I might have a problem with that. (Also reporting about half of the Blizzard Addons as 'out of date' means something's a bit dodgy at HQ.)
Decursive does not display a warning if 90% of the errors come from Blizzard code. Also note that BugGrabber will also display its own warning anyway...
This message is displayed when too many errors happen in a short period of time. Then Decursive's error handler (as well as BugGrabber's) disable themselve to save performance and thus are unable to perform their job (no more Lua errors can be reported).
Try to disable BugSack and BugGrabber since they become useless in your case...
btw you can effectively replace recount and omen with Skadda.
I was just wondering if this was already implemented but recently Retribution Paladins have been given the option to "cleanse" one Magic effect from an ally by using Hand of Sacrifice, has this been programmed into Decursive? And if not, is it possible? Thanks for your time.Edit: Ahh, I've just read about the "Custom Spells" feature, after trying it out in-game it looks like my solution, still haven't tested it on the battlefield.
I've added support for Hand of Sacrifice in the latest alpha of Decursive: http://www.wowace.com/addons/decursive/files/
Have a question on the 'clicking' options.
My mouse does not have a middle button. Can I change that designation. Also, due to a disability, 2-button requirements make clicking problematic. Can I change to, say, r-click. If so, could you please explain.
Thanks.
I'm not sure what you need exactly but you can change the mouse buttons binding as you like in the 'Micro unit frames options'->'Mouse Bindings'.
(type /DECURSIVE to open the option panel)
Symbiosis management is fixed in the latest alpha, you can get it from the Curse client or from WoWAce.com: http://www.wowace.com/addons/decursive/files/
Alright , I went back to the old version of decursive and it now works propery with cleanse so it must be a bug with the new version. Thanks for the help Arch.
Symbiosis with Cleanse was working fine a couple days ago, but now it is not. What do I need to do to incorporate Cleanse back into Decursive?
Can you tell me what return the folowing 3 commands (after you applied Symbiosis on anyone, paladin or not):
/dump GetSpellBookItemInfo("Symbiosis");
/dump IsSpellKnown(select(2, GetSpellBookItemInfo("Symbiosis")));
and fianaly:
/dump GetSpellInfo("Symbiosis");
Does it work if you go back to Decursive's previous version? (2.7.2.4)
Yes I love this addon but I HATE the sounds. I cant figure out how to dsable it (if there is an option) I don't need the sounds and its so often and so irritating. If there isnt an option I will have to disable this add on :C
Yes, and the sound seems louder than anything else in the game. It likes to give me a heart attack in PVP by gonging at 120dB right into my headphones lol.
The sound volume depends on WoW master volume.
To disable it type /DECURSIVE to open the option panel and in the 'General option' tab, uncheck 'Play a sound when there is someone to cure'... (it's the third checkbox of the panel). So indeed you may want to check your glasses^^
Jeebus, right in front of me! Thanks for the quick response!
I'm dumb or blind (maybe both?). How do I disable the sound?? o_O
Read the FAQ, looked through options window, read the description text you have here. I see nothing.
Thanks.
