No countdown for Shadow word: Pain #168

    I saw that this was asked about a year ago, but thought I should look into it again. Whenever I cast Shadow Word: Pain, only a blank bar shows up. KuiNamePlates shows a countdown for the debuff, so I was just wondering if there's something I'm doing wrong for the countdown not to show up in the EBB bar? Thanks in advance!

    Are you playing Retail or Classic? And is SW:P the only spell that seems not to be working correctly?

    Classic. It seems this isn't working correctly for any debuffs though (i.e. not just SW:P).

    That's a "feature" of classic. Back then the API didn't return the data needed for that functionality so they reproduced it in classic.

    So it's not a bug but rather a missing additional feature.

     

    KuiNamePlates likely uses a library to get that additional information or rather estimates on it.

    Currently, I have no direct intention to add support for that but maybe I'll look into it when I feel bored.
