Elkano's BuffBars
EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.
Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.
Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features. It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings. EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor. After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.
In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

Posted Apr 7, 2017I have the problem that i cant deactivate any buff while infight (a.e. When i use Iceblock with my mage, i cant click the iceblock away and have to wait until it runs out of time)

Posted Jun 13, 2017In the last week or two, EBB is not hiding Blizzard buff frame when receiving a new buff, causing me to have to go into the options and turn off and on the "hide blizzard buff frame" option.
Not sure what changed in the last few weeks, but ever since 7.1.5 this has been happening regularly.
Love your mod, please update it asap!

Most of my addons profiles are gone and they keep resetting when i log-out and in; even when i just reload, any clue?

Posted Jun 16, 2017Since patch 7.2.5 went live, my Well Fed food-buff doesn't seem to appear on EBB anymore. Tried with several toons, with several Legion-foods. The "Food & Drink" shows up, but not "Well Fed".
I solved it before even posting this. Turned out the Well Fed buff were white listed as well as black listed. No idea what caused that to happen. O_o

I recently came back for legion and with my new UI design I was wondering if its possible to set max debuffs to track?
I have the anchorpoint pretty close to the bottom of my screen and when I go to raids or world bosses there are so many debuffs that they hit the bottom of my screen and then starts building upwards and above the anchorpoint covering a lot of my screen and basicly turning out very ugly.
So the easy fix for me would be to set max debuffs or have it so that debuffs even if they went offscreen wouldnt "push the anchorpoint" upwards.

Is there any options to "merge" buffs and debuffs?
I know I can put them together, but they are mixed and sorted by "time".
Can it be sorted by type first and then by time?

Posted Nov 27, 2016Yes to both, you can set the group to stack atop the anchor point instead of going down and you already have a group showing debuffs on your character.
If you want to track debuffs cast by you though, that's not possible as the groups track by target and not by caster.

Posted Oct 22, 2016Been using EBB since well i really cant remember tbh as its always been part of my UI. However i cant remember not being able to cancel buffs. I stopped playing mid Cata, and missed panda and came back for WOD. Since then it seems ive never needed to cancel buffs up until now, I've only just noticed recently with the spam of Halloween wands and farming karazhan at the chess event not being able to cancel the playing chess piece buff. Its a dam shame, as its by far the best buffbar mod still out there. I remember upgraded from CT mod all them years ago! Do you have any plans on updating this in the near future? As it would be a shame to have to move back to the default buff bars again just for accessibility just to remove silly buffs mid combat =(
