This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

HeyFu logs whispers and provides a Data Broker plugin for quick review of conversations and notification of any whisper you've missed.

With beta release 106 Fubar support has been replaced with LibDataBroker and the addon moved from Ace2 to Ace3. So when updating be aware that:

Conversation History will not be carried over, there's currently no plan to have any kind of importer since it's a one time break;

Showing HeyFu on fubar will require the use of broker2fubar;

HeyFu can no longer work independently has a minimap button, just use one of the many ldb displays available.

Users that don't want to bother changing from Fubar can continue using the r99 release has it should remain fully functional for as long as ace2 is kept working.

The latest release should already track RealID whispers. Do report any issues you find.

I love this addon, mainly for showing new whisper count in FuBar.
It keeps the conversations for me, though.

HeyFu works with Fubar2Broker so you can use it on a LDB display.

Love to see this updated, even if it is only a TOC update. Question though: how hard would I have to beg for LDB support and the ability to not have to run fubar with this? I'll keep FuBar simply for this mod, I love it so much, but I'd rather not have to.

Does anybody know of this works with WotLK? I had this for a while, then it stopped working. Did not know about the Ace2/Ace3 fix. Will need to find some more information about that, as I'm not sure I understand it. But before I go to all that trouble, has anyone gotten it to work with WotLK? Thanks!

This hasn't worked for me for a while now, but after seeing Cambre's post I decided to try and add Ace2 and Ace3 to my addons, now Heyfu seems to work fine.

Would need others to try it to confirm if that fixes it...

Install ACE2 and you should be good to go.

I didn't attempt to install ACE3 so I can't say if that would work or not, but installing ACE2 did the trick. Thanks KazRo. I had to take a break from the game for like a month, and when I came back, I removed all my addons and started fresh. I found I kept missing tells though, and came back to see if there was an update on this, which there was. Thanks again.

We need some help with this mod of Fubar. Its not working for some people and for aothers it does. Some one needs to give some info. We are recieveing errors and stuff. Cambres example is pretty acurate. i dodnt even know how to contact the authors.

I receive the following error with this addon:

FuBar_HeyFu-1.5\Core.lua:28: Cannot find a library instance of AceHook-2.1.
FuBar-3.0.90012\libs\AceLibrary\AceLibrary.lua:490: in function `AceLibrary'
FuBar_HeyFu-1.5\Core.lua:28: in main chunk

Because of this, it won't work. Does anyone have any idea what I am missing? Thanks in advance.

Can anyone recommend another addon like HeyFu? I hate going afk for a minute and coming back and not knowing if I missed some tells without scrolling through chat. I need this addon!!!

Lets you browse through your whisper history. It's quite handy:

- if you come back from a long /afk where theres lots of chat spam from trade channel etc

- for checking what messages have been blocked by your favourite mods like SpamKiller and SpamMeNot.

- for looking up something someone said hours / days / weeks ago.

I'm hoping it'll be updated soon :)
