GatherMate2 Classic
GatherMate2 is an addon to collect and track herbs, mines, fishing pools, gas clouds, archaelogy finds and treasures, and displays them on the world map and the mini map.
This is the version for WoW Classic, the version for Retail can be found here.
GatherMate will remember the location of every herb you pick or every ore you mine, so that you can easily find the positions of the herbs and mines again. Once you come into range of a recorded spot, GatherMate will show an icon representing the type of herb/ore/fish/etc. on your mini map, directly allowing you to decide if its worth checking out. Additionally, all spots are shown on the World Map, to ease navigation to certain types of nodes and making gathering more fun.
To give you a head start, GatherMate2 also offers a pre-filled data module, so you don't need to discover all herbs and mines yourself, but instead can just start gathering right away. Simply install GatherMate2_Data Wowhead Classic and hit a few buttons to import all the provided data, and you're good to go.

Video about configuring this addon.
Usage
Using GatherMate2 is straight-forward.
After the installation, GatherMate2 is automatically active and collecting data.
You can configure which data should be shown on the World Map or MiniMap in the Configuration Dialog, which can be accessed either via the /gathermate slash command or be found in the Interface options in the WoW Menu.
Localization (Translation of Nodes)
GatherMate2 relies on the node names to be translated in all languages WoW supports. You can contribute additional translations for your language here using the Localization tool:
https://www.wowace.com/projects/gathermate2-classic/localization
Any translations submitted through that tool will be automatically included in the next release.
Hi,
first of all, I want to say great adddon!
Could you update it to the latest Classic Era Game Version of 1.15.1?
Would be awesome, thanks a lot in advance!
About a week ago the already found node locations stopped appearing on the mini map. An active node does show and is marked on the world map if it is new.
was hoping this would have locations for blue power crystals in ungoro, it shows bloodpetal sprouts but not this
I've put in a ticket for this, but wanted to ask here if anyone else if having trouble getting Gathermate2 Classic to work correctly in WotLK? I also have installed Gathermate2 Data Wowhead Classic.
When I go into options for Gathermate2 Classic, I don't have anything in the group such as Filters or Import.
But when I go into WoW Retail and bring up Gamtermate2 options, I have sections for Minimap, Filters, Maintenance, *Import*, Profiles, FAQ, and Sharing.
Back in WoW WotLK, since I tried reinstalling several times, including deleting saved variables, I have NO mining nodes on any of the maps.
Is anyone else having a similar issue?
Does anyone know of a fix for this?
In reply to Rosdav1: I'm having the same issue. It will show mines I've manually mined but there's no longer a button to import data. Only thing I see under the options are the drop downs for each of the types it tracks to determine when to show them but literally nothing to import the gathermate2 data. It's broken for sure.
Thank you so much for this addon! Can you add the "Oil Spill" in Stonetalon Mountains as a trackable fishing pool?
Hi,
first of all, I want to say great adddon!
Could you update it to the latest Classic Era Game Version of 1.15.0 (Season of Discovery)?
Would be awesome, thanks a lot in advance!
Everything has been great with this addon until Blizz did something with their latest patch a couple days ago..... I use Mapster along with GatherMate2. I will use tracking mining nodes as my example; on my minimap, no change, the nodes look nice and normal. On the main map, however, my ore nodes are huge, probably 200-300% their previous size. Oh, and also my fishing nodes now have fish icons instead of a colored circle, and treasure chests have an actual chest instead of THEIR color of circle. I have looked all through both GatherMate2 and Mapster for a setting to shrink the main map icons and came up empty. Is there a setting we have access to?
posted a temporary fix for Era PTR(1.14.4): https://github.com/Ulidan/GatherMate2/releases
Line 323/326 in Display.lua should be:
Since the functions were moved into the C_Minimap library.
Added fix to Alpha after line 519:
Should look like:
To temporarily eliminate the setAlpha error on line 527, you can just comment that line out with a --.
So it should look like
-- pin:SetAlpha(min(alpha,db.alpha))
Your tracking circles will be bright (no transparency) but they will work w/no LUA errors.
Get error on load. Latest from CurseForge.

Fixed german translations of WOTLK mining nodes in the Localization tool with data from wowhead.com. Other languages for mining nodes may be broken, too.
In RU client new Saronite ore nodes are not added to map
any plans to update this for Classic WOTLK ? thanks.
Will there be an update for Wrath Classic? :D
In reply to Inniebin:
The files were updated shortly after your post, it looks like it's at least being worked on :)
