GatherMate

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Collects Herbs, Mines, Gas Clouds and Fishing locations and adds them to the worldmap and minimap.

Please note this has been replaced with GatherMate2 for Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria.

Importing from GatherMate_Data took about 5 seconds.
But when I clicked on the maintenance thingy I gave up after about 2 minutes. I didn't event started anything, just tried to have the according options page show up. That's still normal?

Great Addon so far!

But whenever I select that database maintenance option in the config the game completely freezes (except the mouse pointer) and I need to hard reset my PC.

Would it be possible to have nodes be labeled as underground or above? Would be kind of handy for areas you're new to.

if you just want to not have nodes on the screen, go to the config and filter out what you dont want to see.

It doesn't collect locations of the tinstuff. How can i treat this?

rare spawn nodes are replaced on the map with the normal version when a normal version is found there.

Just commenting to say this addon completely rocks :)
Just one suggestion...
I've been using cartographer mining/herbalism for ages and when they broke with 3.0 it took me a couple of days to find this, so if you could make a note to redirect people to this addon on those addons' pages I think more people will find their way here.

Does this mod use the same database as Cartographer? If not, can you make an import for it please? I have a LOT of data in Cartographer that I wouldn't want to loose.

Checkout the "Author" tab Sytar... Kagaro writes a mod called "GatherMate_CartImport" which I guess would do what it says on the tin.

There is also a mod called GatherMate_Data that contains nodes from the wowhead database. Make sure you read the Gathermate help in-game: it gives you instructions for how to import data. If you -don't- import data from anywhere, you won't have nodes.

Using CartImport does import nodes from cartographer into gathermate. GatherMate_Data also imports nodes - I used both to make sure I had all my nodes.

I cant get it to work. I made an account on the forums but couldnt post
the error is a LUA one.
"Cannot find Ace-Locale 3.0"
