This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Make sure you swap to the MoP/WoD version of this addon.

MoP/WoD version available: GridStatusRaidDebuff2

Adds a status to Grid for debuffs applied by Raid Bosses.

You either need to install one of these zone packs or turn on "Detect New Debuff" to detect new zones and new debuffs in those zones otherwise the addon does nothing.

How do I get the Raid Debuff to show up in Grid as the Center Icon?

Open Grid Options
Select the Indicators tab at the top
Select Center Icon on the left
Check Raid Debuff

(This option is also under Status->Raid Debuff->Center Icon, they both toggle the same setting)

If you are having problems, please make sure that you are running the latest version of Grid. Grid versions prior to 1384 has a known issue with debuffs showing.

Please elaborate on the problem you are having or file a ticket with more information if you feel there is a bug.

It already works with GridIndicatorCornerIcons, GridIndicatorSideIcons, and should with any other Grid module that handles displaying icons in the standard Grid way. I can provide a screen shot if you need showing it displaying an icon in the top left corner, top, and center at the same time even using the base Grid Center Icon plus both those mods.

Just check "Raid Debuff" under Grid Options in the "Indicators" tab for any Icon displaying Mod. For example, GridIndicatorCornerIcons to display in the top left, you would go Grid->Indicators_>Icon (Corners)->Top Left Corner Icon (Left) and check "Raid Debuff" on the list.

I thought there used to be list of each debuff so you could remove the ones you prefer not to see.. is that no longer here, or am I failing to find it in the configuration?

Open Grid Configuration select the "Status" tab then "Raid Debuff".
Select the zone on the left, and click load on the right.

Then on the left you will see the debuffs. Uncheck "Enable" to disable the ones you don't want to see.

Question on this. The "zone" option isn't there (I just had to reinstall everything from scratch and sitting in Orgrimmar) - do I have to be in the zone before I can blacklist debuffs I don't want to see?

Okay then - zoned into Bastion of Twilight. There is no "zone" option. How do I set certain debuffs to not show? I figured I'd go ahead and give this addon a shot, but if it's not going to work I'll just go back to adding them manually.

Thanks for the screen shot, that clearly shows what is going on for you.

You either need to load a zone pack like GridStatusRD_Cata or turn on "Detect new debuff" which will then add zones as it detects them. If you use "Detect new debuff" I also like having "Ignore dispellable debuffs" enabled, but that's personal preference.

Using a zone pack rather than detecting them on your own provides the advantage of having them prioritized and some debuffs won't detect (if they don't generate a SPELL_AURA_APPLIED event they won't detect, but can still be monitored by a zone pack).

That makes sense, and thank you for the reply. (Though, I can't exactly ignore dispellable debuffs, being a healer and all... damnit.) I'll definitely look into it again, then; adding debuffs/buffs manually is a pain in the arse.

I'm currently still having issues with r289. Raid debuffs do not show, and I get loads of UI errors. I will gladly post them if need be. For now, I have it disabled though.

Please include your Grid version. The most common cause of debuffs not showing is running an early Cataclysm version of Grid.

Cant seem to get r289 or r287 to work at all. Using GridStatusRD_Cata r6 and r8. Tried to get either to work just cant make it work at all. Anyone else having issues?

No lua errors, but the debuff filter seems to be broken. All debuffs, including those that I set to not show end up showing. I am going back to r286 for now.

To confirm, "latest" was version r287 and not r289, and the issues have been fixed in r289, correct?

I have attempted to contact the current project manager of GridStatusRaidDebuff. I have offered to help maintain it. The "All Rights Reserved" license prevents me from cloning this addon.

In the mean-time, I have release an addon that provides the new Cataclysm raid bosses. This addon requires GridStatusRaidDebuff:

Is there a slash command or macro command to toggle "Detect new Debuff"? So we don't have to enter the config each time we want to activate it.
