on grid2 is there a way to with grid find who the person to dispel on the second boss of HoA ive tried every spell id known to man and none of them work
-Configure Grid2 to display the type of debuffs you can dispell, for example magics and curses in the case of a shaman. I think the second boss of hoa applies a curse to the whole group.
-You can use raid debuffs module to display all raid and dungeons debuffs too.
-The second boss applies the "Curses of Stone" aura, so you can create a debuff using that name (or search the spellid in wowhead, must be the spellid of the aura applied, not the spellId casted by the boss)
-You can create a debuffs group status too and in the status configuration filter select "dispelable by me" to display all debuffs you can dispell.
okay first of all curse of stone is the debuff that everyone gets stone shattering leap is what the person gets but it doesnt track the individual player ive tried every spell id and it doesnt work it works with a WA but i was wondering if there was way to track it on grid
unless ur telling me spell id stone shattering leap in a debuff group status and make it dispellable by me but idk if that would work
"Stone Shattering Leap" is not a debuff, it's a boss spell and it does not generate any debuff on the target when casted, so the the ability cannot be tracked using a debuff and cannot be dispelled too.
The WeakAura for this boss simply tracks the abilities casted by the boss an detects when the boss switch target (the boss targets some dps or healer) and start casting the "Stone Shatering Leap" spell.
You can use the "banzai" status to detect when the boss casts some harmfull spell on a player (the banzai status can be linked to a bar indicator too, to display the cast progress of the spell)
huh so what do i do i have bar already do i make like a icon add banzai to it or maybe do it on border then add stone shattering leap to it?
Stone shatering leap is not debuff, so it has no sense to create a stone shatering debuff and link it to any indicator, this will never work.
You have to link the banzai status to a border, square, icon or a bar (the bar must be configured to display durations), but you do not need to add any spell to the banzai status, the banzai status already displays all harmful spells casted by the boss.
so lemme get this straight you do banzai to border and then it will know to dispel the leaped person correct? Do you need Banzai and curse in the same one because it is a curse dispel
You want to dispel the curse of stone debuff on the leaped player, so you must know: which players are cursed and who is the leaped player.
So I think is not a good idea to display both things in the same indicator (border), because an indicator only displays one thing at once, so its better to use two indicators.
im not understanding what to do lol
https://pastebin.com/tRacug8J can you do it if u dont mind im so confused
its possible to do the configuration in multiple ways, and I am not sure what you dont understand, im not completelly sure if you understand the mechanics in this boss.
The leaped player and the cursed players are different things, even the boss can leap/jump onto a player with no curse debuff: for example a mage using ice block (or his own dispel curse ability) can auto-remove the curse, so in this case there is nothing to dispel on the leaped player.
So you need to know if the leaped player (the player selected by the boss to jump onto him) is cursed or not.
So simply link the banzai status to another indicator, for example some icon indicator. So in this case the "Stone Shattering Leap" spell icon will by displayed in the icon indicator when the boss is going to jump/leap onto the player:
Recap: link Curse debuff Type to the border indicator (this was already done in your profile), link banzai status to some icon indicator.
1. When the "stone shattering leap" icon is displayed in a player unit frame, you know the boss is going to jump onto that player.
2. So the next step is to check the border of the unit frame to see if the leaped player is cursed.
3. Is the leaped player cursed ? dispell the curse.
4. Is the leaped player clean , no curse, no debuff ? do nothing, or maybe dispell another nearby cursed player.
okay i got the icon and its showing and i got curse linked to border but when i go into combat all targetted spells look weird on the border could u look at my border and banzai settings to know why it looks all faint https://pastebin.com/qyjttVAA
Your configured border is not visible at all in my computer, because you are using the "Grid2 Pixel" texture for the border (this texture is full transparent except a very thin 1 pixel line) , and the border size configured is too small for my resolution and scale (1980x1024). Maybe in higher resolutions the border is more visible. So increase the border size, or use a solid texture like "Grid2 Flat" for the border.
okay so it showed every targetted spell i wanted i put the curse on the second boss of HoA it didn't show the leaped target but its working as intended
