What version of Grid2 and game type (classic or retail) are you using ?
2.0.26 retail
What game client version (windows or mac) and language are you using ?
Windows, english.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Getting multiple debuffs of the same type (multiple magic debuff, or disease or curses, etc). Currently only shows one icon with multiple debuffs of the same type. The indicator is set to "icons".
Did you try having Grid2 as the only enabled addon and everything else disabled?
Yes
Was it working in a previous version? If yes, which was the last good one?
Yes, it was working on the previous version iirc, got introduced in r949-beta version.
Do you have an error log of what happened? If you don't see any errors, make sure that error reporting is enabled (`/console scriptErrors 1`) or install [BugSack](https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/BugSack).
No
Please provide any additional information below.
The ability to display multiple debuffType statuses in icons indicators was removed time ago (2.x.x version).
Now you have to use a "Debuffs" type status linked to an "Icons" indicator to display multiple debuffs. To create a "Debuffs" status:
1. Click on Statuses>Debuffs
2. On the Right Panel select "Debuffs"
3. Type a descriptive name for the new status.
4. Click Create.
5. Link the status to an Icons indicator.
5. Goto the new created status configuration to select which debuffs you want to see, for example, only dispeleable debuffs, typed debufs, boss debuffs, etc, there are a lot of filter options.
Alright so if I want to show all DebuffsType like before with that new way of doing it I have to create 2 "Debuffs" with those settings
and
So that it only show typed debuffs weither they are dispellable by me or not and do the exact same for boss debuffs and long duration debuffs either dispellable by me or not, else the strict filtering doesn't allow me to cover all possibilities since a debuff cannot be dispellable and non dispellable at the same time (if I understand the thing correctly).
My issue now is that even with that simple 2 created "debuffs" it already doesn't show up the corruption from a warlock, which is "a non dispellable by me debuff" (since I wasn't in healing spec), "a typed debuff" (since it's a magic debuff), "a non boss debuffs" (since a warlock is not a boss), "a short duration debuff" (since de duration is <5min) and "a non self casted debuff" (since I didn't cast it myself). This is exactly the setting of image 1 so I don't exactly get where the issue is.
If both options are checked (for example dispellable and non dispellable) this always means that this filter is not taken in account, so no debuffs are removed (and strict filtering does not change this behaviour).
One almost undocumented behaviour: Blacklists are always strict, a debuff added to the blacklist is never displayed.
So if I understand properly this setup should show typed debuffs on top right with multiple icons, here "Agony" as it's a curse and "Unstable affliction" as it's a magic debuff, without showing the 2 others because they are untyped debuffs. As you can see it doesn't display anything.
Whenever I check everything, every single debuffs are showed as intented, so I believe the issue is on the "Typed debuffs" condition.
Grid2 2.0.28-beta version shoul fix the non-working typed/untyped debuffs filter.
As always, ty for the quick fix !
