What version of Grid2 and game type (classic or retail) are you using ?

    Classic WOTLK grid2 2.5.04

What game client version (windows or mac) and language are you using ?

    Windows

In Malygos P2, Grid 2 is not showing the correct pet frames. In principle, every player mounted on a dragon should appear as a pet. This behaviour is working in Oculus HC 5man (final encounter).

grid 2 is set to have the layout "By Role w/Pets" in Raids.

    Where do i mess up?

    Screenshot with raidframes with pets:

    working

    Screenshot at Malygos (same settings):

    malygos

Note that i move the player frames to make room for the (non-existing) pet frames.

Maybe the option "Use Blizzard Unit Frames" in General/Layouts/General is unchecked ?

If this option is unchecked new pets cannot be created while in combat.

thanks! ill try that. what is the general purpose of this option?

The normal behaviour is to use blizzard unit frames. I added the option to not use blizzard unit frames in tbc beta because the unit frames blizzard code simply did not work, it had gamebreaking bugs, so the only way to fix the unit frames was to reimplement part of the game code. The problem is that non blizzard code has a lot of restrictions in combat.
