What version of Grid2 and game type (classic or retail) are you using ?

Wotlk. Latest version.

What game client version (windows or mac) and language are you using ?

Windows, English.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Change to by role layout. Set main tank roles. Tanks will not move. 2.0.56 introduced the use of wotlk roles. Literally no one uses these roles correctly in both pugs and guild groups. Highly recommend reverting this change, many addons such as threat nameplates use maintank, not the wotlk roles from the talent trees. This works in retail but is not a good idea for wotlk. This makes things infinitely harder as a raid leader and was not helpful from a usage standpoint.

  
Did you try having Grid2 as the only enabled addon and everything else disabled?

Do you have an error log of what happened? If you don't see any errors, make sure that error reporting is enabled (`/console scriptErrors 1`) or install [BugSack](https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/BugSack).

Worst case, at least give us the option to disable this new feature. Running pugs is now a nightmare while using grid.

This change also eliminated the option of full alphabetical ordering with only your raid's main tanks at the front, unless your healers check themselves as dps.

I dont understand the issue. As raid lider you can assign the roles of other players, right click on a player unit: "Set Role" option.

And you can always create a custom layout using the layout editor (Layouts/Editor tab) if you want to use the old roles (Group by option in the layout editor).
