Not sure if this would be a feature request, or if it is a bug, or if I'm just doing something wrong.I want to populate raid frames by role, and I want them to grow from right to left, and bottom to top: tank, healer, dps. So, when in a 10+ raid, tanks should be at the bottom right, then healers above them, then dps above healers, and growing into the next column leftwards, bottom to top. I also want 5-man groups to grow in the same manner (right to left, bottom to top). And most importantly, I want the starting positions in my layout (the tanks) to start from the exact same spot when in a raid AND when in a 5-man. No matter what combination of layout position settings I use, I just can't get this to work. Raid frames populate from the starting position that I set, but then when I'm in a 5-man group, they start populating from a different area on screen, usually 1 column from where they SHOULD being to populate. I have tried (I think) EVERY single combination of settings, but I just can NOT get this to work. Is this a bug, or are you guys able to make this description of settings work correctly? I'd do anything to have it work the way I described!
Goto general/apperarance/layout disposition tab:
- Layout Anchor: BOTTOMRIGHT
- Group Anchor: BOTTOMRIGHT
If themes are enabled in your profile, you have to setup the anchor configuration on each defined theme (because each theme has its own "layout disposition" tab).
If detached headers are enabled you have to setup the position for every used layout (simply activate each layout using test mode and move/drag the window to the desired position), because with detached headers a different position is saved for each layout and group type.
