Try to display mana on my Shadow PriestDid you try having Grid2 as the only enabled addon and everything else disabled?
Yes
Was it working in a previous version? If yes, which was the last good one?
First time.
Do you have an error log of what happened? If you don't see any errors, make sure that error reporting is enabled (`/console scriptErrors 1`) or install [BugSack](https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/BugSack).
No errors.
Please provide any additional information below.
Works fine on my Enhance Shaman.
The default power type for shadow priest is insanity, not mana. So grid2 does not display mana in this case in the same way it does not display mana for druids in bear/cat form.
I could add an special case for shadow priests (and maybe another other clases like druids), but i need some important reason to do this change.
Being a frame replacement I think it should be good to be able to replicate all features like the default. Like just knowing when to stop healing to save mana for dps is important and having to use multiple of anything to display that seems pointless?
Fact remains a shadow priest needs to use mana to dps along side of insanity, not sure on druids.
Grid2 is a raid unit frames replacement, and other raid unit frames (including blizzard default raid and party frames) do not display mana for shadow priests.
Anyway im considering the posibility to add a special case (with an optional switch in configuration) to always display mana for priest and druids, but im not sure yet, players usually use the player frame, resources bar and/or weakauras to track his own resources not the raid/party unit frames.
Well I use the play frame and target frame that is also in GRID 2 so could you also add in being able to toggle hiding those both like the raid and party frames please? I prefer GRID 2 and would rather have less addons to achieve the clean look that your addon provides.
Try out 2.2.0-beta version.
Now Mana status has an option to display the unit mana when it is the secondary resource. In this way is possible to replicate the standard behaviour of the default player frame: a secondary mana bar visible when the mana is not the primary resource.
A new ManaAlt status has been added too (identical to Mana status but you can setup different settings).
Now you can create a secondary mana bar, and setup a filter (indicator load tab) to display the bar only for the player frame, and link the ManaAlt to this second mana bar.
A more simple setup: configure the Mana bar to always display the mana (checking both primary resource & secondary resource options in display section)
