What steps will reproduce the problem?

 trying to setup debuffs for new mobs and found modules for some xpacs..wanted to add a special frame to indicate extra heals needed on specific debuff. 

Did you try having Grid2 as the only enabled addon and everything else disabled?

I dont know what you mean by "module" or by "frame", your question is very vague.

Grid2 has a lot of ways to highlight a debuff.

You can create the desired debuff in Statuses/Debuffs and then use or create  different indicators to display the information in different ways: for example you can change the unit frames border to a different color, or maybe display a glowing border,  a big icon, or some type of shape: square, rectangle, circle, etc.
