What steps will reproduce the problem?
When inside an instanced scenario such as 5mans, Tol Barad, etc. When I'm outside of those situations (walking around SW, flying around digging, etc) the entire frame does recognize me mousing over on the entire frame, which I do know because I have mine setup to highlight the frame when I mouseover.
The issue is (my groups are vertical) my top two frames will not recognize I'm mousing over them except for a tiny sliver at the top of each frame but the other frames are recognized properly where if I mouseover any part of the frame it is recognized. This is essentially causing me to "miss" heals since with the top frames in my groups I have to be super precise in where my cursor is.

  
Did you try having Grid2 as the only enabled addon and everything else disabled?

Unfortunately, I have not been able to test this as I am unfortunately dependent on several addons in instanced situations where it is the only place happening.  

Was it working in a previous version? If yes, which was the last good one?
Yes, before the Cata launch update May 21, 2024

Do you have an error log of what happened? If you don't see any errors, make sure that error reporting is enabled (`/console scriptErrors 1`) or install [BugSack](https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/BugSack).
I unfortunately do not as nothing direct is popping up as an error, just part of the frame suddenly stops workign once I'm in a dungeon.

 Though this didn't happen until the May 21, 2024 update  I haven't noticed it until May 26 for some reason. It is exclusively an issue to instances. Outside of dungeons the addon recognizing when I mouseover is not an issue at all. There was a point where I speculated that maybe my mousing over is fine and it is just the highlight reaction that is wonky but no dice. I persisted to use a mouseover heal on a frame even though the highlight didn't prompt and the mouseover redirected to my target (as my macro does state a priority of mouseover, if no mouseover, then target) exactly as if I wasn't mousing over anything at all. This is what helped me rule that it was an issue of the frame being recognized as oppose to a graphical error. And it is just the tiniest sliver of frame at the top that will be recognized. The majority isn't, which makes it extra odd for me.

Try with no other addons enabled, maybe some transparent frame from another addon or weakauras is covering the grid2 unit frame while inside instances.

Figured it out!

So it was absolutely another addon causing the issue. I apologize for wasting your time on this ticket but appreciate your time all the same.
There were inactive Bartender bars sitting over the specific spot where the frames were so moreso an issue of a problem being between the chair and the keyboard and not the addons themselves. <.<
