What version of Grid2  are you using (Version is displayed in General/About Tab) ?

What steps will reproduce the problem?

I tried to configure shields like in the retails version, but there is no shields or absords to use in the indicators.

  
Did you try having Grid2 as the only enabled addon and everything else disabled?

Yes. Didn't work-

Was it working in a previous version? If yes, which was the last good one?

Olny used last version. Retails versions works fine tho.

Do you have an error log of what happened? If you don't see any errors, make sure that error reporting is enabled (`/console scriptErrors 1`) or install [BugSack](https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/BugSack).

No log. Seems that classic version is missing the functionality-

Having this exact issue trying to prepare for spine of deathwing. Someone in trade says they can see the status but its not showing up for me. I checked every non beta version on curseforge and none had the option. Haven't tried setting up this status until now so unsure if it was ever there

Grid2 does not have shields statuses because Blizzard disabled shields information API in Classsic.

But you can track the shield in spine of deathwindg creating the "Searing Plasma" debuff in Statuses/Debuffs section.

Then you can link this debuff to some icon indicator.

But if you want to see the shield value you must link the debuff to a text or bar indicator, then in  the Searing Plasma debuff configuration,

goto the Value section, and in the Value dropdown list select value1, value2, or value3, usually the game puts the shield amount in Value1, but if Value1 does not display the amount of shield, you must try with Value2 and Value3.

In Cataclysm there no shields for heal absorbs debuffs but there is a special implementation for player shields in Health&Heals but only tracks some specific buffs (not heal absorb debuffs):

Mana Shield,   Ice Barrier (Mage), - Power Word: Shield (Priest), Divine Aegis (Priest),  Iluminated Healing (Paladin),  Sacred Shield  and Guarded by the Light (Paladin)
