Hello,
I'm having trouble solving the issue of the Goal Prisons on Mug'Zee on Retail wow in the new raid. Default raid frames has the alpha reduced for targets that are inside the prison, as they are unhealable. I do not know if this is possible to achieve with Grid2, as the only way i know which targets i can or cant heal are by the small icon showing the Shaken Earth debuff indicating they are inside the prison.
Please note i am using a Multi-bar Indicator to have different colour health frames, shield absorbs, and friendly shields. Ideally i would like them to minic the default raid frames and have those inside the prison (have prison debuff) have reduced Alpha.
Please let me know if this is not a feature Grid2 can support, or if there is something i am missing.
Thanks for all your hard work!
You have to use the 38 yards range option in range status (not heal range) for Mug'Zee boss.
Thank you for clarification, was not very intuitive.
Just a quick followup, will this have repercussions as Discipline priest with 46 yard radius? Do I just need to have Range by Class checked for both to be accurate for my class/spec? Or is this just an option i should have checked for Mugzee only if playing a class with 40+ yard range?
Thanks again!
38 yards range is the same check used by the blizzard raid frames, its called 38y in grid2 for historical reasons because this part of the code is very old, but in modern wow the range/behaviour depends of the class, for example the game checks for 25yards (instead of 38/40y) for evokers, but i dont know for sure for discipline priests.
Heal range checks if some heal can be used on the target, so its usually better for healers, and should work too but unfortunatelly the game is returning wrong information for this specific boss.
You dont need to enable range by class, this is only useful if you want to use the same profile for several classes but configure a diferent range per class.
