Frames from Grid2 is sometimes black

I've never seen this problem. Can you try and narrow it down by disabling all addons and seeing if this is still an issue? And what do you mean by black? Is it just an empty Grid2 frame?
Note that some addons will remove bug output from view, removing any error output.
Hope you can help us narrow this down a bit!
I often experience this after a patch and I have forgotten to re-click 'load out of date addons', as not all my my grid2 modules are of the same version. Getting back to my character screen and making sure all addons are loading correctly fixes it for me.
Though I have sometimes experienced this after heavily modifying settings, I've been unable to correct or reproduce the effect, I ended up resetting all grid2 settings to restore normal operation and redoing my customizations.
I experinced something like this today when I did a reload UI and re logged during Tol Barad. After the reload UI and a re-log my grid2 would display the individual unit frames as just black. So I had a raid frame with all black sqaures in it. Now it seems to be staying black when ever I do a reload ui or re-log now.

Though unlike the original reporter of this problem, I am getting it with the latest alpha version installed. It also changed the other addon mentioned (first bugsack code is archy, second is atlasloot)

This did happen to me aswell when the 4.06 patch hit the servers. Grid gave me that error that is easilly fixed and then after awhile I realized all my bars were black. I had to re-install Grid to get rid of this problem so I'm not sure how much it'll help you out since I don't remember if I got an error from it or not.
