What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I made my UI a premade spot for grid, when filling it I no longer see the option to remove the backdrop frame from grid. Also notice that I cant push the grid boxes as close together as before.

Do you have an error log of what happened?
Not an error.
Please provide any additional information below.
Grid2 has two borders now. But you can disable both if you want.
1. Inner border settings are in general options: you can set the inner border to 0 if you want. This border is really a background if you want the cells background completely transparent , set the alpha/transparency to cero in the inner border color.
2. Indicator border is configured from: Indicators -> border -> Layout tab. You can choose the border size here too. You think the frames cannot be pushed more close because the indicator border has 2 pixels size and it has a transparent background color. Set a black background color to enable the old grid2 apearance.
3. If you want to hide layout main frame background:, general -> layout settings -> you must set the transparency to 0 in border and color options
4. If you want a full transparent background on each cell/frame: general -> frames -> background color : set 0 to transparency/alpha. general -> frames -> inner border color : set 0 to transparency/alpha.
If you want the old grid2 appearance:
1. Disable inner border (0 size) 2. Configure a black background color in indicator border settings. 3. Set indicator border size to 1.
