What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'd like to see an option to turn on or off a entire new unit frame set which represents enemy unit frames when inside the arena. Settings should be saved separately from party/raid frames and also have a way to copy current settings from party/raid frames to the enemy arena frames to make the transition simple.

Allowing for a separate frame should still allow complete customization of size, orientation, health flow, aura indicators position and size, etc which is what Grid2 excels at.

Very specifically - I'd like my enemy arena unit frames to look exactly like my party/raid frames. They are nice and simple. Then I'd like to cover the enemy frames in large crowd control icons and their timers when they are under such an effect. Only Grid2 can do this so gracefully with such customizabiltiy!

What Grid2 version and language of WoW are you using?

Grid2 is the best unit frame addon I have ever used! I can't find anything else that will come close to doing this.
