What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go into violet hold/stockades without a group
2. The frame will not show your character any longer
3. Join group with someone and watch the frames reappear like normal
4. Drop group and it stops showing again

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see my character just as it had been when I was outside these instances instead the frame goes blank.

What version of the product are you using?
243 beta the lastest on curse

Do you have an error log of what happened?
There was no error that popped up as far as I know

For an implementation point of view, Grid2 consider that you are in a group when you enter a group instance and in a raid if you enter a raid instance.

Grid2 will switch to the group layout when entering an instance. If your group layout doesn't include the player, then you won't see the player.
