  I tried setting up the status powerword: shield as a bar too, but it didnt work.

Working fine here, a guess, maybe your new bar or square indicator is placed behind the health-bar indicator ? , try increasing the frame level of the indicator. If this is not the case, paste your profile here, (profiles -> advanced -> export profile)
