I put in a ticket a while ago about an issue I was having, but then it started working. I think the original ticket was closed. but I'm having the issue again. Thank you so much for helping!
Original ticket:http://www.wowace.com/addons/grid2/tickets/453-no-longer-can-add-new-buffs-and-debuffs/#c2
I apologize that I didn't put a response reply. It started working again after I made my post. It's been working fine up through yesterday, but I'm having the same issue today. I made some edits yesterday, so I'm assuming it was due to something I did. (Your directions were to push ESC key, in the game menu go to Interface -> Game -> Help -> Enable "Display lua errors". Reload the game, goto to the grid2 options and see if some error window is displayed. Paste the error message here.)
***I got this error message***Message: ...2Options\modules\statuses\StatusAuraNewPredictor.lua:117: Cannot find a library instance of "AceGUI-3.0-Search-EditBox". I remember also reading something about enabling "auto detection" for debuffs, and I just checked that box. I am able to add the buffs and debuffs now! However, this error message came up (I'm not sure if that would help with anything else, so I thought that I might as well post it)***2nd Error Message***Message: Invalid Custom Control Type - EditBoxGrid2BuffsTime: 12/20/15 14:39:11Count: 1Stack: ...nfig-3.0\AceConfigDialog-3.0\AceConfigDialog-3.0.lua:1588: in function `FeedGroup'...nfig-3.0\AceConfigDialog-3.0\AceConfigDialog-3.0.lua:1513: in function <...nfig-3.0\AceConfigDialog-3.0\AceConfigDialog-3.0.lua:1493>(tail call): ?[C]: ?[string "safecall Dispatcher[3]"]:9: in function <[string "safecall Dispatcher[3]"]:5>(tail call): ?Interface\AddOns\Ace3\AceGUI-3.0\AceGUI-3.0.lua:314: in function `Fire'...ce3\AceGUI-3.0\widgets\AceGUIContainer-TreeGroup.lua:506: in function `SetSelected'...ce3\AceGUI-3.0\widgets\AceGUIContainer-TreeGroup.lua:192: in function <...ce3\AceGUI-3.0\widgets\AceGUIContainer-TreeGroup.lua:188>

original ticket text:Hello,It is probably something that I am doing on my end, but I am no longer able to add new buffs and debuffs under the "Status" area.
Under Status, click Buff. It says "New Buff" with a dropdown that says "Buffs, Buffs, Buffs: Defensive Cooldowns." I would pick one of those, and there was a field underneath to enter the spell ID number or type it out (and it would offer options as I typed out). Then I could rename the selected Buff, create it, etc. However, only the dropdown is there. No empty field. No matter what I select out of "Buff, Buffs, or Buffs: Defensive Cooldowns," there's isn't a field or anything that is showing besides the dropdown. The same is happening under the Debuffs; there is only a dropdown to select the type of Debuff, but I can't enter which debuff or create any new ones. (Under Debuffs, the items in the dropdown list are: Debuff, Debuffs, Debuffs: Healing Prevented, Debuffs: Healing Reduced)
If you can provide any help, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you for making such a great addon, and thank you for taking the time to read this :)
What steps will reproduce the problem?1. On the lefthand menu, go to Statuses2. Select Buffs (or Debuffs)3. On the right is the area to create New Buff.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?- The expected outcome is to be able to add specific Buffs and Debuffs to the Statuses area- with the dropdown with Buff, Buffs, Buffs: defensive Cooldowns plus the field to enter the buff spell ID or name so that I can create it.- What I see is only the dropdown to select Buff/Buffs/Buffs: Defensive Cooldowns (or the Debuff dropdown list in the Debuff area). There is no field to type in information no matter which I select in the dropdown.
What Grid2 version and language of WoW are you using?vr786, English
Do you have an error log of what happened?I don't know how to create that, I'm sorry :/
Please provide any additional information below.
I will make sure to check back and answer any questions if you have any! Thank you again!!
Welp...
The fields are there to enter buffs/debuffs, but it's not allowing me to :/ This message pops up:

@Kaigera: Go
"AceGUI-3.0-Search-EditBox" is missing in your system, but this library is included in Grid2 zip.
Must be located in "game_path\Interface\addons\Grid2Options\Libs\AceGUI-3.0-Search-EditBox"
Maybe are you using the Grid2 NOLIB package instead of the regular zip ? nolib package does not include any library.
I downloaded the AceGUI-3.0-Search-EditBox. It was missing. A "Libs" file was missing from \Interface\addons\Grid2Options... as I created that (so the location matched what you typed: Interface\addons\Grid2Options\Libs\AceGUI-3.0-Search-EditBox).
So I need to reinstall Grid2, or what should I do? Or maybe there is a Lib package that I need to reinstall? I don't want to lose my current Grid2 settings (because I spent a reeeally long time on them.) Trying to think back to what changed when the errors started popping up... I downloaded ElvUI to see what it was about, but it wasn't for me and I uninstalled it through the Curse Client. Would that have anything to do with errors?
I'm really sorry, I don't know how to interpret the errors or provide any other help. I read that Bugfix is supposed to be helpful with that, so I downloaded that Addon. Here is what it is reporting:

And just to clarify... do I need to download Grid and/or any of the additional "Grid Side Bar Icons, Grid Status blah blah blah" addons, or do I just need Grid2?
@Kaigera: Go Grid2 normal package includes all necessary files and libraries, no other files must be downloaded, install this version:
http://www.wowace.com/addons/grid2/files/1525-r786/
Thank you for your reply! Will I lose any of my settings or formatting by downloading the that?
